    I own in HP 8600 office jet. I regularly use generic ink. All of a sudden the printer began to reject the generic ink. So I went out and bought authentic HP ink. The ink was still rejected. I came to find that the printhead was bad and it would cost over $100 just for the part. That is more than the cost of buying a whole new printer. And people wonder why landfills are getting so filled up. HP thanks for messing up the environment.
