HP changes their top of the line Printer/Scanner/Copiers yearly and changes the ink required every time so I have two printers that require different ink cartridges when purchased 6 months apart. Quality is good however

Don't know if it is the ink cartridge or printer. Did call HP but their technical service is horrible and I was unable to get any kind of reasonable answer. And they sent me the wrong replacement cartridge, which is why I bought the cartridge at Best Buy. Best Buy's service was excellent.

Expired ink

In a way, I'm glad you wrote this review. If you just received an expired cartridge, don't wait to see if it works. Best Buy has a brief return window. The Best Buy policy is at www.bestbuy.com/site/help-topics/return-exchange-policy/. Expired cartridges need to be corrected. Each cartridge should have a window of six months to a year left.
