    I always use HP ink, tried the after market refills and they work some time but in the long run HP inks works the best.

    They work as they should, when they should. I have never had an issue with the ink clotting on the Office Jet 8600 series printers.

    Nobody likes buying printer ink. The XL versions help a little bit and you have to buy the OEM ink otherwise you're asking for trouble. All in all, it is what it is and unless you print a lot using the new Ink subscription is not cost effective.
