This situation is irritating. I apologize you had to order additional cartridges. I would like to explain what occurred. You experienced a clog in the cartridge. If this situation happens in the future, take the cartridge out. Soak a cotton swab in warm water. Apply the cotton swab to the printhead. Put a towel down under the cartridge and gently tap. This action might clear the clog.
