    I mostly use the black cartridge, as most of my copying is of documents, manuscripts and the like, without pictures, so this XL cartridge filled with black is perfect. Otherwise, I'd be using them up at the same rate I eat shelled peanuts -- and that's annoying.

    The ink works well and Best Buy is priced at competitive price. But will never, ever buy another HP printer. Must only use expensive ink from HP. Will not allow non branded ink.

    HP original ink performs well but is pricey. I've tried reloading with aftermarket inks but have had an occasional issue with that. Catching the ink on sale takes some edge off of the cost. Buying a new HP printer pushed me into the 952 ink cartridge, which was much more expensive than the previous cartridges that the older printer used. An entire set of cartridges cost similar to the new printer cost.
