I had enough rewards points to bring the cost down of the HP ink, so it does the job it was designed to do. No complaints. It could be less expensive though.

I still don't understand XL variety. My printer - upon replacing - thought the new ink was empty, so I closed it up; powered it down; and started it again before it was ready. Box, foil wrap, cartfidge, plug so ink doesn't get out with bad storage.

The XL variety is the extra large cartridge. Most people consider it a better value when they do a lot of printing.
