The price paid for using the printer is a very high one. Just consider the price of a printer and then add up the cost of ink. You've paid for the printer several times over before it gets to be a couple of years old. If gasoline were priced the same, people couldn't afford to own or drive their cars. However, the result is good business for Hewlett Packard.
