    Only three stars as I have no experience with the cartridges. I do expect, however, that they will function well as have previous HP cartridges I have uses on my previous HP printers. They are not cheap and do not last forever. I should have purchased the high capacity cartridge.

    Never had any problems with the HP brand being defective for this printer. Best to use HP than the off brands.
