I own an inexpensive 7" Windows 8.1 (now Windows 10) tablet that I wanted a small-enough-to-be-portable-yet-still-usable-for-touch-typing keyboard to use with it. This was the best option I could find. It works as expected, and I have had no trouble with it. Installation was easy (just pair it via Bluetooth settings). It is slightly larger than my 7" tablet, but should pair nicely with any 7"-10" device.

Best bluetooth keyboard I've found so far

I have long been on the prowl for a decent bluetooth keyboard with the Windows context menu, function keys, and the other keys needed to efficiently work in newer and older programs (INS, HOME, END, PAGE UP, ...). This keyboard has what I need to program and work in spreadsheet software. I do not rely on a keypad, so although this keyboard has a function-based keyboard, I haven't tested it.
This keyboard has decent tactile feel, is sized appropriately for larger hands (I am 74in tall), it is lightweight, and easy to pair. Note it does not remember multiple pairings, only the most recent.
I have owned a serial bluetooth keyboard, an aluminum-cased folding version (the best to date until the K4000), iHouse (you can figure out which brand I really mean), and a cheap knock-off that came bundled with a tablet case. None of them are as well manufactured as this one.
Sadly, it doesn't work with my Nook HD Plus in the native operating system, but works when I boot to CyanogenMod (CM). The folding bluetooth 2.0 aluminum keyboard works perfectly with my Nook HD Plus, while the IHouse goes to sleep every 10 seconds. The K4000 simply will not pair with the Nook HD Plus natively but paired promptly in CM and with a 7" iView Windows 8.1 tablet.
I cannot testify to battery life as I haven't used it long enough to drain them fully.
I picked up the K4000 on sale, and for $15, it's the best bluetooth keyboard deal I've ever landed.

This review is done with the Bluetooth keyboard connected to a first generation Microsoft Surface Pro
Here is a quick list of pros and cons that I found before I go into detail.
Pros:
Lightweight and sturdy(not flimsy)
Fast Response
Good feedback when typing
Batteries are not built-in(uses AAA batteries)
Cons:
Frequent duplicated inputs
Going into detail, what's good about this Bluetooth keyboard(k4000) is that it fits my needs as daily regular tasks(not gaming). For example, instead of spending time touching the screen to type, I use this and breeze through everything I do like online shopping and stuff. The keyboard has satisfying response unlike my previous wireless keyboard. By response I mean that I tap on a key and it shows up on the screen. With my previous wireless keyboard, I hit many keys and 1 or 2 seconds later it shows up even with new batteries. Even half a second delay is annoying and I don't get that with this keyboard so I'm happy.
This keyboard doesn't have a built-in rechargeable batteries which is a huge plus in my opinion. The reason is that rechargeable batteries have a limit to how much you can recharge them. So devices with built-in batteries(if you cant replace them) will eventually be unusable later on. I haven't exchanged the AAA batteries that came with this one and I've been using this keyboard for at least a month.
Now for the negative part of this keyboard is that it frequently duplicates the keys that you type, I'd say while typing this review it happened two or three times. Like hit 3 one time and you get 333333 and so on. This happened within the first 2 minutes I used this keyboard the very first time out of the box and still doing it a month later. It doesn't happen often enough to annoy me but to some people it could be deciding factor with why they won't get this. I would still rather use this Bluetooth keyboard anytime of the day than my type cover and usb wireless keyboard.
All in all, a decent Bluetooth keyboard at a reasonable price. Well...looks like I finished writing my novel and thank you for reading my review.

Went looking for a small, light, bluetooth keyboard for my Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Everything was in the $50+ range, until I stumbled upon this one! For under $30 (sale at the time) this keyboard is true to a normal size keyboard. All keys are light and easy to type on. Keyboard is very portable and connects very easy. Took less then a minute to be up and working! No charging required because it runs on batteries which is better than my last one! Easy to clean too!

this is a really good keyboard. really compact and easy to use and carry. unfortunately after some time of no use, it is a bit slow to respond. so when you start typing, just type normally and it will get what you need but u have to wait a few seconds before it does if you leave it alone for a bit. if you try to type something, and it doesn't come out right away, don't try typing something twice because whatever you write will appear twice. don't worry it's a great keyboard though.

Pros:
Number pad! Very slim. Easy to transport
Cons:
Number pad is angled with the keys so it can be hard to use if you are used to a standard number pad. For someone with big hands the keys may be a bit close together making your fingers rub against each other a bit when typing.

Like most other people, I reluctantly, but successfully made the transition to typing on a tablet screen with my fingers. However, it's never felt as natural or as efficient as typing on a keyboard. For some reason, I've always missed the speed and accuracy of typing on a traditional keyboard. I currently own a Microsoft Surface and never felt as if the Touch Cover was worth the price and I'm not a fan of pliable, 'rubbery' keyboards.
This HP Bluetooth keyboard fit my need perfectly. It features a Windows home button that I find extremely useful. Plenty of alternate key functions that make using my tablet a breeze, standard function options, and a great solid build.
It's light, easy to store, and extremely responsive. However, when turning it off and on, there is a slight initial lag waiting for it to be recognized by my tablet, but that might just be a Bluetooth connectivity issue, so I don't really fault the keyboard. I can move a good bit of distance from my tablet and it's still responsive and the battery life has been great.
To be perfectly honest, I really have no complaints about this device. After picking up keyboard and a mouse, it almost mimics my laptop or desktop experience. Wonderful investment.

I Love having this keyboard! I frequently connect my tablet convertible latptop (Asus Transformer T100TA) to the TV. I have a Bluetooth mouse so that I can navigate to watch video files on my computer. I also wanted to be able to use a web browser to watch videos. This meant needing a way to type hence the need for a keyboard.
There is only 1 USB port on the ASUS so I didn't want to use it for a USB wireless keyboard. Also, I wanted the longer range that Bluetooth provides. In addition, most of the time when I connect it to the TV, I have the screen detached acting as a tablet so there is no longer a USB port.
This keyboard connected easily and is a very small form factor so it travels well. I have used it up to 20 feet away from the computer. The only issue is that when I use both the mouse and keyboard there is a little bit of lag when typing or using the mouse. I do not have this issue when I only have one or the other connected so it would appear that this could be a limitation of the computer hardware or the Bluetooth spec. In any case, I definitely recommend this because of the small size, price tag, and that it does what it needs to do! :)

No only is the HP brand one to trust but this keyboard was the right price!
I was searching for a light, true to life small keyboard to use with my tablet. Everything I saw was at least $50 or more!
I spotted this one for just $20!!! (Normally $30, which is still a great price)
My Samsung Galaxy Tab easily synced up with it and I was typing emails in no time!
A previous keyboard that I bought had some of the keys not placed where your traditional keyboard has them. This keyboard functions great!
Best features:
Light
True to an actual keyboard
Keys are not flat like a laptop but not protruding like a tradtional keyboard.
Set up was easy...less than 60 seconds!
Durable
Priced right!

I was looking for a bluetooth keyboard for a HP Stream 7 tablet I got for Christmas, you know Windows 8.1 is a pain to use in desktop mode. Found this HP keyboard at a really good price at Best Buy. I'd been a touch typist all my life, this keyboard is small but size doesn't compromise typing.
Also I think this is the only keyboard in the market that works on standard AAA batteries which means I don't have to throw the keyboard away once the battery stops charging.
Keyboards works with my HP Stream 7 and iPad mini, haven't tried it yet with my Galaxy S4 phone, but I guess it is going to work like a charm.
Highly recommended.

My laptop keyboard started going bad about 3 months after I bought it. I needed a small portable keyboard that would easily fit in my laptop bag for when I brought my laptop home on the weekends. This is hp keyboard is working great so far and the Bluetooth connectivity make it so I don't have to use a usb slot. It is small so it take some getting used to, but so far it is great.

I did some research before I made my purchase, and it was a good decision to buy this keyboard. The size is compact, so it is easy to carry it with you daily. I love the switch on/off that get me more control of this keyboard unlike other keyboards that you have to turn them on by keyboard.

Was looking for a small Bluetooth keyboard to ease searching within the channels of my AppleTV. This was a perfect fit for that. Setup could not have been any easier. Put batteries in, turn it on and it linked up. On my way to much easier navigation and searching. No more one character at a time remote driven searching.
The size is big enough that the keys are easy to select. Not so small that key spacing becomes to tight. It's size makes it easy to store in the small draw of my entertainment center for easy access when needed.
The only feature that I now see that would have been nice to have would be back lit keys which this model does not have.

I actually bought three of these (one for me and each of the kids). Keyboard is small and easy to carry in my bag when I'm toting one of my tablets. I don't use it daily but when I do it works great with both my HP and Dell tablets. Highly recommended.

Love this keyboard. Needed a bluetooth keyboard and this happened to be on sale. Got it for a decent price and the keys worked great. Also, small enough to be used with my 10 inch tablet pc.
