Bought this for the surface. Everything was great until I noticed that when I typed, there would be repeated letters. Seems as though the keys were sticking. So had to return. Since I didn't keep the surface, there was no need to try another keyboard.

If you need to have some distance between the keyboard the receiving unit, this is not the one to get.

    Great Portable Keyboard

This is a great portable keyboard. It's not what I was looking for, but I need that cursed *one* usb port on my Surface Pro 1 for arduino. (It's not exactly the easiest to type code via touch screen keyboard.) I opened up the box, and I connected it to my Surface within two minutes. It's incredibly easy. Despite this keyboard not being my ideal keyboard, I do love the portability I get from the trade off of bigger keys and a number pad. It's about the size of my Surface, and I prefer my keyboard to be wireless so I can move and set up camp the way I want to (hence why I didn't choose a type/touch cover). I do have to mention a number pad built on the keys with the "FN" keys. Basically, you hold down FN and the keys on the right half act like a number pad. With further use, I may actually enjoy that. The price, compared to most bluetooth items is reasonable. It being the cheapest at $50, doesn't make the quality any less than it should be. It's quite the snazzy keyboard. TL;DR: Small keyboard with small keys for traveling/commuting a lot. Lacks a number pad, but FN key provides similar set up. Reasonable price. Sleek.

The keyboard was ok. It is small and cheap feeling but worked ok. I'm sure something can be found that is better.

    Good little bluetooth keyboard

I found that it works with Windows 7 64-bit, my Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 5, Playstation 4 (was surprised), and Playstation 3. The only thing is that switching between all my different devices I had to unpair the keyboard and pair the keyboard all the time which gets annoying. I wish it could pair to all my devices and not have to go through the trouble of pairing it up each time I switch devices. It's a plus not to have to type with the small on-screen keyboards of the ps4, ps3, and android devices. It's a great keyboard for travel.

Bad Bluetooth connection when in use. I used it for my desktop and would be difficult to connect to then would work for a couple minutes and go out again. Ended up just getting a real nice Logitech wired keyboard with light up keys. Don't buy this unless you want a paper weight.

we have had this keyboard for only about a month, and are using it with a tablet. The Bluetooth connection is spotty with the tablet and the key caps started to fall off already. Disappointing overall.

Great for connecting to micro PCs

I recently got new hardware in my studio by replacing my old, mid-tower cases with some of the Intel NUC micro-PCs. These units come with Bluetooth built in, I didn't want wires all over the place, and because I use two PCs on that desk I wanted some smaller keyboards to increase available desk space. I happened to be in Best Buy one night and saw these. They're absolutely the right price and size for what I wanted, so I took the chance and bought two of them. Each NUC connected to its respective keyboard without issue, and I've probably reclaimed about 50% of the space from when I used two full-sized keyboards. They have a solid feel, and I've experienced no problems with them so far. The only thing I haven't been able to determine yet is how well the batteries last, but I make sure to turn the keyboards off when I'm done and I only use rechargeable batteries. So unless the batteries run dry every few uses (which I doubt), this keyboard was exactly what I was looking for.

    Excellent Keyboard for Price

To be honest, I try to get the best bang for my buck. Coming from an individual who supports computers and associated hardware, I was very pleased to find this product. It is very ergonomic and very universal. The best part is that it is straight Bluetooth connection and do not need a wireless receiver. HP finally made a product that works!

    Almost perfect

This keyboard is almost perfect. It's obviously compact and designed for portability, but doesn't take long to get used to using it. Light weight and immediately syncs to my Note 8.0 as soon as I turn it on making it very convenient. Function key allows for a simulated number keypad without adding bulk and has all the shortcuts to use your Android device easily. Can't attest to the battery life as I've only had it for a few days but, I'm optimistic they'll last quite a while. Only wish it was rechargeable with backlit keys, but for 29.99 on sale you can't beat it.

Connected easily to an iPad w/retina display and HP laptop. No so with my wife's Lenovo but that's a laptop issue. Small enough to carry in a laptop bag. No dedicated number pad but at this size (think small laptop keyboard) I would not expect it to. Caught it on sale for an excellent value.
