I purchased this bluetooth keyboard because of the issues I was having with USB 3.0 on my PC. If your running any 2.4ghz wireless devices such as a wireless keyboard & mouse that uses a dongle to plug into a USB 3.0 port on your PC the wireless devices will freeze up pretty bad. This is a known problem with USB 3.0 ever since USB 3.0 came out. Plugging in any device (i.e. flash drives, storage devices, additional USB 3.4 hubs & card readers) into the USB 3.0 ports will start to interfere with your wireless keyboard & mouse. The only way around this is to use Bluetooth devices which uses a frequency of 5ghz Now as for the HP k4000 keyboard. It is not a full size keyboard. It is very compact and may be a problem with users with normal to larger sized hands. I probably would be hesitant to recommend this keyboard for those who may have normal to larger size hands. This is a very small size keyboard. Advantages is the compact size. I would only recommend this keyboard for only the "sale" price and for those who have smaller than normal size hands. I would not recommend this keyboard if it is selling at the regular price because as other have mentioned. At times the keyboard will repeat characters randomly. This isn't a big deal to me because I rather deal with the repeated characters than the freeze ups when using my USB 3.0 ports As I am writing this review with the HP k4000 bluetooth keyboard my smaller than normal size hands are starting to cramp up. Maybe it'll take time for me to get use to this keyboard.

I bought the K4000 for use with my Surface Pro 3 as I did not want to pay $130 for the Surface Type Cover. The HP K4000 is the perfect size for a 10 - 12in tablet, keys are tactile island style although a little small if you have larger hands, but still a better solution that the onscreen keyboard. I would recommend this product over a USB wireless keyboard so those valuable USB ports remain available.

This keyboard works great with my android tablet. It was easy to pair and it makes responding to long e-mails much easier than pulling out my entire laptop.

Works great with the Microsoft Surface! Perfect size and so lightweight! Great product, especially for the price!

I bought this tiny Bluetooth keyboard from Best Buy for good price. I am using it with my windows 8 tablet ( Dell Venue 8 Pro ) and it works like a charm. Took 3-4 minutes to connect it for the first time. After that it automatically connects to the tablet instantly. Keyboard does not feel cheap at all from any aspect. Decent key travel. I enjoyed typing on this keyboard specially considering it's small size. very light weight too. I would strongly recommend this keyboard.

I got this keyboard after returning the more expensive one that was meant for tablets because it didn't work at all. I got this one, and honestly did not expect much, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use. I turned on the bluetooth on my tablet, turned on the keyboard, typed a couple letters, and it paired up. In less than a minute I was typing away. I can fit it in the same case as my tablet which is nice because I travel a lot and use this primarily for my business. The keys are easy to use, and don't require a lot of effort. All I have to do is click on the button in the back and I can start typing right away. This is an amazing keyboard and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

i asked 2 associates if this keyboard works with mac said no, third guy said yes its a multi OS as long as your device and mac have bluetooth it will work...got home synced with my mac mini and it works fine. no disconnection if you dont use it but you can turn it off to save some battery life cant really say its a battery hug but will follow up on that in a few days the only think i hate is that is very light with cheap plastic so you gotta be very careful where you place it and keep away from fluids and children.

I was looking for a simple Bluetooth keyboard to use with my iPad. This keyboard works perfectly.

I prefer to use a keyboard on any device I can. This keyboard works so well on Android! It makes doing things a lot faster and easier when e-mail or texting is concerned.

I got mine for an Apple TV, no more cussing trying to get that courser to pick out letters individually.

I bought it for use at home. very nice and slim keyboard. love it.

I was looking for an inexpensive Bluetooth keyboard to go with my Surface Pro, but yet something that was small and light weight enough to carry with it. This one fits that description perfectly. I sometimes use the on screen keyboard, but if I know I will be doing a lot of keyboarding, this is works really well.

Don't be fooled that the box that says it required microsoft windows Vista/7/8. So far, I have connected this to an iPhone 5s and a 2013 Nexus 7 nearly effortlessly. I'll test it out with my macbook pro and iMac at home, but this is primarily for the Nexus 7. Very easy to connect to, portable, uses triple A batteries (I use rechargeable ones, it comes loaded with some AAA already). I'll update the review when I test out these features.

Easy and simple design. Was able to quickly adapt this bluetooth keyboard to my apple TV (that was the whole purpose). The customer sales person at Best Buy explained that it was not possible to do ... but quickly educated the person. Going back for a 2nd one for my other apple TV.

Great keyboard for my HP Stream 8. Paired easily with the tablet and has a convenient on/off switch so I won't waste the batteries.

I went to Bestbuy and was disappointed to find that no one in the store was sure that the HP bluetooth keyboard would pair with an iPhone. THey told me to risk it and return it if it didn't, and that's what I did. Shortly after I ascertained that the keyboard worked well with my phone and my laptop, I threw away the box and the receipt. What I didn't know was that ONCE YOU'VE USED THE KEYBOARD WITH THE PHONE, YOU HAVE TO DISCONNECT AND REINSTALL THE DRIVERS in order to get it to work with the laptop again! IT's a ridiculous waste of time, and convenience was teh one reason I bought the keyboard. I would have gotten the logitech easy-switch, twice the price, if I"d known.

Exceeded my expectations. Good quality for the money. Love this keyboard. I was pleasantly surprised.

the keyboard is a little smaller than I had expected, but the Bluetooth seems to be reliable and the keyboard itself is cheap, so it was definitely worth purchasing

The keyboard does have a nice fluid feel to it for me & I'm a fast typist. It's a little small but I did not have any trouble getting used to it. I'm using an ipad-mini & while I do want to keep this keyboard because I like working on it, I need to return it after 1 day's use because I just cannot lose minutes adding up to hours screen time on the freezing & slow factor. The cons - screens freeze - whatever screen I'm in at some point it will just freeze ; this has not happened prior to using the keyboard - one minute screen changes - this has not happened prior to using the keyboard but screen changes in the browser are interminably long - function keys do not work - hold down the blue Fn key and an arrow key and nothing happens therefore you use the use of the HOME, END, PG UP, PG DN keys ; have to resort to tapping the arrow key repeatedly to navigate ; this is too much of an allowance to make for a keyboard This may all be an ipad compatibility as I don't see these issues in other reviews. I'm using a mini-ipad and not sure why the screen freezes are happening but after the 3rd waste of 15 mins trying to get something done, like start an email, I've decided to return the keyboard.

This is a great product, im a college student and I take me tablet to school and i figured i should get a keyboard to work with it. i didnt want to spen the $130 for the one made for it and has the case and knew i could find one better and for a better price. then i found this one it is great it does what i want. only thing i have had a problem with sometimes is that is types a letter more than once sometimes for no reason but that is nothing. i would recommend to others to use
