Basically a laptop that isn't portable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All in one desktops are an interesting beast, in recent years they've been more akin to laptops than desktops, but with the advancement in laptop processing capabilities, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Packaging: Well, it's packaged like a monitor, just mouse, keyboard and unit in a box together, looks like a 24" monitor and that's fine. Minimal literature as seems to be the case these days with things like this. Use: It's actually quite snappy, the processor has on-chip graphics that while they aren't necessarily gaming grade, will do in a pinch for some light gaming that wont make you feel like you're scraping the bottom of the barrel. The processor itself is very capable Ryzen AI 300 series, which is basically a mobile Ryzen 5, it is based on the Zen5 architecture so it's the latest and greatest. There's heavy copilot integration throughout the machine and if you're using it for your daily workhorse, that's nice to have for composing emails, checking documents and so on. The Ryzen AI 300 leans a little more towards AI workloads to help in this regard. What's the bummer then? It's an all in one, and at some point it's going to be obsolete, however while it has an HDMI out is does not have an HDMI in, so when that day comes that it's no longer a reasonable computer, it'll just be a large pile of e-waste since you cant even use it as a monitor when the computer portion of it has outlived its useful life. I feel like this is a pretty big miss. Overall: Capable, quick, works very well, even though it's a glorified laptop. Bummer than it doesn't have an HDMI in, but it's also not what it's sold to be. Good machine for the right person.

ALL In One with Smart
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP All in One desktop is a unique product that really intrigued me because of what it was offering at its price point. Features 10/10 This system comes with a AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 CPU processor, which means its has AI features baked into its system. This is meant to help with the AI features built into the windows aspect as well as It helps manage your system to operate at its peak performance at all times. It comes with Wifi 6 and BT 5.4 so works with all mainstream technology. It comes with 512GB NVME SSD, this is speedy for start up and accessing my documents. It does come with 2 USB 2.0 ports and a USB Type C and Two SUB Type A. It also includes a standard RJ-45 ethernet port. Lastly it includes 2- sticks of 8GB of Ram and built inside of a 23.8" 1080P Screen powered by a AMD Radeon 840M GPU. Graphics 6/10 This System isn't meant to be a powerhouse for gaming, but I wanted to see how it would preform on Minecraft. The game actually ran decently at 28 FPS on the lowest settings with a lot of tweaking. I then tried CIV 7 on a lower resolution and saw around 38 FPS. So it is possible to get some games going but the system is limited in this respect. OVERALL 9/10 This system offers an all in one solution that fits the bill for a central computer for the house for everyone to use, or even when you want to conduct calls with the included webcam. The system ran flawless I pushed it to its limits by having You tube running, then 20 webpages opened with various elements going on them. Additionally I had Microsoft Word, power point and Excel open and the system did prioritize correctly and never felt bogged down or ran slow. The AI aspects were nice as the AI functions were fun and easy to use and helped me quickly get to where I wanted to go and what i wanted to search for.

New HP PC all in one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to replace my Dell PC which had windows 7 after 13 years. Got this HP wireless PC with a 24 in all in one setup with windows 11. I like windows 7 better but what can you do? I’m still using the old one but can’t get WiFi on it. HP was a good choice.
