Basic Printer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had many HP printers over the years. Most of them worked quite well. This would only be the second printer in the bunch that I experienced trouble with. Mainly had a lot of trouble connecting to my network using the app. Just simply could not find the network. Through many attempts and thinking outside the box (approximately 45 minutes) finally had a connection. A few days later I checked and found printer is continuing to stay connected to the network (good) but not connected to the internet so I am still troubleshooting and don't have a solution yet. I am pretty sure that is why the info symbol stays lit al the time! The print quality is good, color or BW print. The app works good. Printer is working so its ok for now. The copy function does work good. No issues. Very light weight, would be perfect for a college dorm or just being mobile for direct print use at various locations. Can also email print The free nine months of ink supply is a nice offer from HP and after can pay as little as 3.99/month depending on your page requirements. I don't think there is another Brand that would even come close to the instant ink program or the quality of the ink provided. Once the bugs are worked out, will be a nice cost effective basic printer.

Home printing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The DeskJet 2734e had a great price. Once I opened the box, I had no problem installing the ink and setting up the Wi-Fi. I love that I have a printer that will work with my phone, iPad, or laptop. It came with 3 months of instant ink which made the overall price awesome. This printer has exceeded all of my expectations!

I was happy with my choice. Good printing quality. Light weight, easy to set up and configure to my phone. There is an app with the user manual that comes in handy.

Will not connect to my new HP laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been unable to connect this to my new HP laptop. Not sure what the issue is. Debated returning it because there SHOULD be a way for it to give me SOME idea about the problem. Not sure if I CAN return it at this point because that window may have closed while I continued to try to figure out what the problem is. I also HATE that HP requires that they printers print new ‘alignment’ pages when installing new cartridges - that should be an option. I see it as a way to force people to use their ink cartridges faster. But HP was just about the only option available under $100.

Great printer.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this printer. It was super easy to set up, works great with the app, and wirelessly. Prints great in draft form as well. The printer comes with ink and 9 months of HP ink services. That’s a huge plus. I can’t see how I’ll need the scanner but it’s nice to have.

It works
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to easily connect this printer to my Wi-Fi network, unlike the other brand I tried previously. The most important thing was that my iPhone recognized it right away so I was able to print without my computer. Windows also saw the printer and automatically installed it. I don’t like using inkjet printers for bland and white stuff I can do more cheaply with laser printers, but due to this one having a small footprint, I sometimes use it. I did have to print some lithium ion battery labels the other day that said “must print in color” so having this guy around was cool. Setup was pretty quick and HP has the apps for your phone. I haven’t yet checked on the replacement ink pricing because I generally use printers until they run out of ink and recycle them but perhaps I’ll give the replacement ink service a whirl because the pricing appears to be quite reasonable. All in all, the printer is fine. It doesn’t scream quality but all printers nowadays are pretty cheap and simple so I’m not complaining. It prints and stays connected to Wi-Fi, which is all I’m really asking for.

Set up is impossible
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An unusable and broken set up system. Couldn’t get anything to work after over an hour of working on it. Returned it for an upgraded HP model and with the same exact software and process had that printer up and running in 5 minutes. Avoid this one it’s cheap for a reason.

Posted .Hi, Nermin.
I’m sorry that your printer has rendered prints slowly and used ink more rapidly than you’d anticipated. Your disappointment comes as no surprise here. I want to help you improve print speed, to understand what might be happening with the ink and to remedy any problem that might exist. I hope the information and resources below serve that end.
First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed. Find that guide here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2817150-2408088-16
Next, I can’t say for certain what’s happened with the ink supply in your case, but some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less still than ones in our Instant Ink program. If you’ve gone through only those cartridges that came with the printer, this could explain what you’re seeing.
However, if you’ve installed replacement cartridges, the XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 200 to 240 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce 100 to 120 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.
Regardless, if your results differ dramatically from the estimates above – or if print speed does not improve adequately – I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
