Not a bad unit unless you need tech support

After a power outage it failed to connect wirelessly. After SIX HOURS with two different tech support teams it still doesn't work, and the promised call back for further diagnosis never happened. My time is too valuable to mess with this any further, so into the trash it goes.

I have only used the color ink when I installed the cartridge and it shows I need color ink. I have already replaced the black ink. I just purchased the printer 1/17/2024. Also the first paper does not come out of the paper feed all the way, I have to take it out and press the button for it to continue. The price of the printer tells you the quality. It’s not worth the cheap price. And it’s also past the time where I can return it to Best Buy.

Documentation says setup must be done via a wireless connection, but it can operate using a USB connection. It does not work. I cannot get this printer to work. I went to Best Buy last Saturday, and was told that this is a common problem. The return policy is limited to 10 days, but I have spent over 10 days trying to get it to work with no success. Never will I ever purchase HP again.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer because I already had two opened cartridges HP 67XL(colerd&blak inc) that I bought mistakenly for my older printer HP2130. 1st: The new printer came with two new cartridges that I wanted to do not open and save for later, but this never happened because the printer won't allow you to get it set up until you put the standard cartridges that come with - HP 67, so one pair of cartridges will get dried soon. 2nd: There is nothing about "simple and clever" in HP ideology especially when you think about their software... I'm a network engineer for more than 10 years and this didn't help me to not get frustrated during the printer setup, the wifi glitched all the time, and needed to follow the installation procedure many times. PS: still can't print from all my LAN PCs/Laptops, need to figure out what's wrong :) Good luck!
