First, printers such as yours don’t ship with a six-month supply of ink. Rather, the purchase includes six months of enrollment in our Instant Ink program. In it, you choose a plan based on the number of pages you would like to print monthly, and replacement cartridges are shipped as needed based on usage. Once the free period expires, you are billed on a monthly interval.
Instant Ink should have been an option for you when you set up the printer. If it was not, or if you did not enroll, I recommend that you contact us directly so we can assess and resolve the situation. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. Good budget friendly little printer

The App worked seamlessly on my phone and IPad. The print quality is good. Set up was unnecessary longish but not complicated. However, some features may not be intuitive for some people. Wireless worked but not without flaws. I have used HP printers a lot in the past and it just seems that the Bluetooth function here might be a little more weak. The printer tends to get lost in sleep mode and you need to physically wake it up for the work to be done. Scanning and copying work nicely as well. The best thing about this printer is its size and supposed simplicity. Honestly, it is simple or could have been more simple. There are just too many little steps in the middle that could have been avoided. One other inconsistency I noted: the wireless connection through my desktop gets iffy at times, even when the printer is not in sleep mode. I find the connection through mobile devices to be more stable. Very odd indeed. My desktop can pick out the other printers in the network without any hiccups so I have no idea about the reason behind this aberration. Overall— if you are in the market for a cost-effective way to set up a print/copy/scan set up in your home, this might be a good option for you. It is a good machine for the price.
