      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has failed to maintain a reliable wireless connection and rendered prints so slowly. The frustration you express is totally understandable, considering these two issues plus the contradictory message from the printer itself regarding Wi-Fi connection. I want to help you get the printer working to your satisfaction, so I’ll provide some resources aimed at meeting that goal.

First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity. Visit that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

Next, I suggest that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed; choose whichever of the following two links matches your operating system:
      - Windows: support.hp.com/us-en/document/bud03409
      - Mac OS: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01928898

Also, often just updating the firmware can help improve print speed. You can find out how to do that here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02919168

If any issue persists or you need assistance with anything else, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Will never get HP again. Had to call HP for help in getting it set up and after hour on phone finally got it working. Then when I tried to use it again it wouldn't even turn on. So ended up returning it. Got a Canon and easy set up.

After playing around with this printer for a few days I can say it’s a decent piece of equipment. If this were an average priced printer I would probably give it 3 stars. However this is an economical model and needs to be judged on that curve. It’s a little slow and the print and scan qualities are ok at best. I also had to unplug and replug the printer in at one point to get it working after it locked up scanning. On the plus side, the printer in remarkably light weight and has an unusual aesthetic that I happen to like. The set up was easy, and the mobile app worked for me as expected. So for me the big question of every review I write is will I recommend this to a friend? Well, that depends. If you need a high volume or high quality printer, Id say no. However, if you just want an inexpensive machine to occasionally print out a map, tickets, taxes, reports, school work or whatever then I’d say this printer is a pretty great value. I just recommended it to my mom who is looking for a printer precisely like that.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry that you’ve not been able to set up and install your printer because it did not come with a software disk that you expected. I can wholly understand why that would be an unwelcome discovery with a new printer. I want to help you get the device connected and working to your satisfaction, so I’ll provide some resources aimed at making that happen.

First, most of our printers are now designed to set up wirelessly via the internet and so no longer include setup CD-ROMs. I recommend that you follow a setup tutorial specific to your printer you can find on our support site. On the same page you can also access user manuals, troubleshooting guides, how-to documents and software updates. Do that by following this link:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/product/model/29378213

You can also visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including setup and connectivity. You can find the page here:

If you need further support with setup or anything else, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and determine the best course of action.
