Easy to set up and unlike other printers, the s one stays on until you turn it off.

Good printer for how cheap it was it’s functional!

I would have given this more stars except for the way you have to set it up. I was installing this printer for my 95 year old father who wanted a new printer. He does not have a smart phone and couldn't remember his email password - setting this up with a usb cable was extremely painful as they want you to use wireless and an app on your phone. I just wish that the software developers would keep in mind that there are some people out there that just want to connect the printer to the PC and PRINT!

Works great with my older lap top. Prints and copies come out very clear

printer setup was tedious. it can only be setup for use as a wireless, then can be used as a direct connection printer. it is now a dedicated wired printer to the a house computer, not being involved with the office computer or wireless network.

It works. Easy set up. I don't know about the ink yet.

Easy to set up even for a senior citizen with few tech skills

This printer is probably the worst printer I've ever used. It's a decent price, setup wasn't awful (for me, apparently I may be a lucky one on that point), but that's about all the good I have to say about it. With the first ink cartridge, I got maybe 15 good prints out of it (and these are like shipping labels, not hardcore black boxes or something). I bought new ink and replaced that with little problem. My biggest issue is that it rarely prints when I want it to. It's on, it appears to be connected, I'll say print, and it'll say that it can't connect to the printer. When it actually does print, it paper jams every single time, or pulls like 10 sheets through, or thinks there's no paper in the tray even when I have a whole stack in there. This is the most frustrating device I've ever used. I don't usually write reviews, but on this one I had to. Buyer beware! I guess I'll have to invest in another printer to Work from Home without this additional frustration.

Purchased this printer as an inexpensive replacement. The printer itself seems ok, but the setup was absolutely exasperating and in my opinion unnecessarily complicated. And this is from someone who used to do this kind of thing for a living. It would have been a lot easier if they had included a simple setup guide with the printer. I am really disappointed in HP for this, as they used to be known as one of the best. The real issue, though, is after finally getting it set up and running it intermittently goes off line for no reason and the only remedy is to unplug the power cord and plug it back in to reset itself. Very frustrating if you are on the other side of the house, or also for my wife who is not technical at all. I have followed all of the HP troubleshooting processes to no avail including their HP print doctor software, which considers unplugging/replugging a suitable solution to the problem! Next step is trying to get a warranty replacement. All of this is not helped by the fact that you can't reach a live person at their toll-free technical support number to assist.

Its good but ink was over very fast. Over all is good.

Printer works great with no problems. It was a little difficult to install on my computer. The program to install kept on giving my other printer that was installed already and that I also use. I finely figured it out and it got installed. The PH program was a little difficult to us because of my already installed printer.

ive had this printer for about a year now, and take my advice and stay away from this printer, this printer is not worth it--not worth the prince of cost, and not worth the time it wastes trying to get it to work, this printer was very difficult to set up, took me 5 different tries before i was able to get the setup download to work on my computer, and this darn thing does not work as its supposed to, there seems to be a problem with the place where the paper is loaded, as sometimes when i am trying to print, i get an error message saying paper misloaded, paper jammed or paper not correct size for current print, then i have other problems with it as well-- one time i will send something to be printed off and the printer already turned on and hooked up to my computer but it does not print, and i have to send the print again sometimes ive had to do that about 6 or 7 times for the darn thing to finally start printing, then another time it will print off way more copies then intended, this printer one time i sent 1 item to be printed and this thing went on a roll and printed off 12 color copies, when i only needed 1 copy of in black and white--- i tired turning it off that did not work i even unplugged it but when i turned it back on it started printing off more but it stopped at 12 prints and i think thats was only because it ran out of ink, i unplugged it and did not use it for a few days after that, was very upset about that, im really sorry i wasted my money on this thing, but its too late for me to return for refund so im stuck with it until i can afford another better printer, when i can afford another one im thinking about trying another brand next time.
