Constantly Out of Service - InstantInk is a scam!

I have to unplug to restart it 9 times out of 10 in order to print anything. It constantly drops connection to the internet, the computer, the phone, anything that connects to it. The app is useless for troubleshooting. Not to mention they immediately try to scam you into signing up for an ink ordering service that will effectively lock you out of using your printer without paying a monthly fee...for life. Avoid!

Not sure what happened to auto ink shipments, I got one shipment for printer before this one and it was wrong last size. I sent it back with a note and have heard nothing. I had to buy some locally then and again since I got this one.

Setup is annoying and complicated, I couldn't get the wireless to work, found an old USB cable lying around. 1 little information card for support was the only thing available. Finished the setup with my Linux system, and then everything seemed ok.

Might take 15 minutes might take an hour. After trying all the trouble shooting steps and updating it is still a pile of crap. You get what you pay for.

At first it worked perfectly, but after just a month or so it started with the connectivity issues and then there's the splotchy printing no matter how many times I've tried the cleaning steps and replaced the cartridges. If you're looking to buy this printer, don't....just pick a different one!

It keep saying the cartridge door is open when I'm printing a document but the door is not open! Then it took forever to print! I will probably return this printer.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is an absolute horrible printer. i wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, i would give it zero stars if i could. first of all it has to be connected to wifi constantly to print, if the connection goes out even slightly it just will not print. i have been setting this up for 3 hours and so far the only things i’ve been able to print from this stupid thing are alignment pages. the instructions are a joke and are absolutely no help. please do NOT waste your money on this
