    Unnecessary hassle, don't buy.

You cannot use the scan function easily at all unless you create an account with HP and log in. Why is that the case? With privacy being such a needed thing in todays day and age and every business on the market trying to make money with your data, this is not something you should consider buying. It is a hassle. I tried getting help, they require you to log in every step of the way, there are 5 different prompts for you to give them your usage data and the service that helps you connect to it can't troubleshoot what is wrong with it at all. I will never buy another HP after buying this printer. Their help software is monitoring your every move. You have to LOG INTO THEIR SITE to be able to use your scanner in the way their software sets it up. I hope a new guy comes in to the market and makes a cheap printer/scanner that does what it is supposed to do without any extra pieces

I know this is a late review, but I purchased this printer a year ago on the "special" deals. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I had to have my daughter set it up, I was able to print maybe a half dozen times than it wouldn't print anymore. Uninstalled it then reinstalled it printed a few more times, did this a third time. Even tried to use a direct cable, but still didn't work. Not happy at all, I want a direct wired printer wireless ones a unreliable.

Ran out of ink in less than 2 months. Their app says we printed 73 pages per month. so in about 144 pages, we're out of ink. No warning ink is low, now I need the printer and it has no ink and I have to order it online no purchase. They want me to get their subscription and I'm not doing it. However, what I will do is cross HP printers off my list and as soon as I am able buy a better printer and toss this one on the heap as I doubt I can sell it

      Hi there.

I’m sorry your printer has used ink more rapidly than you’d anticipated. I can clearly see why that plus the device not indicating it was low on ink would be perplexing. I want to help you understand what’s going on with the ink cartridges and remedy whatever issue exists with the printer. I hope the clarifying information and resources below reach that end.

First, I can’t say for certain what happened with the ink supply in your case, but some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less still than ones in our Instant Ink program.

The XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 200 to 240 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce 100 to 120 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.

Regardless, the fact that the device did not indicate it was low on ink concerns me, and I believe it deserves further investigation. I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. I received the HP 2755 Deskjet Printer in new condition and immediately went to work unboxing it, excited to see what the new printer was capable of. After unboxing it, removing all tape from the unit, installing ink cartridges, plugging it in, etc., I downloaded the HP Smart App and began following its instructions on setting up the printer for Wi-Fi use. I no longer use any wired printers as Wi-Fi works great throughout my house. I tried 5-6 times to connect the HP 2755 printer to my Wi-Fi system which is situated right next to the printer in my office. It would not recognize my Wi-Fi system or find any of the other 4-5 ones nearby. I finally gave up and quit trying to connect to the HP printer as there is something very wrong with this printer's wireless capabilities. I was unable to try out the printer for print quality, speed, color, clarity, and will not waste any further time or tolerate any further frustration with this device. Steer clear of this one until some fixes are made by HP. I

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has not connected wirelessly like it should. I can understand why that would be quite frustrating, especially considering you maintain a successful network of other devices in your office, so I’ll offer some resources and information that I hope will help.

First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various problems, including setup and connectivity issues. Visit that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

If the difficulty persists, I hope you’ll contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

07/09/2023 12:40 PM EST - In my opinion, this is HP's worst product and the offer of six (6) free ink cartridges is how I was hooked. Although my ink indicator is low, I have yet to receive one cartridge. I've told family and friends to stay away from this product, Need a backup for emergencies THIS ISN'T IT
