no internet connection, why?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Deskjet 2700 in December and had trouble printing. Finally, it worked. Yesterday it wouldn't print because it is supposedly not connected to the wireless internet. The on button is flashing, can't get it connected and can't print anything. I tried looking online for help, but no luck. This should not be this complicated or frustrating.

Horrible thing of a printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I made an account just to warn others off this awful thing. Every time I use it I have to reconnect to wifi and go through the motions as if I'm setting up a brand new printer. Absolutely horrid. They ask you to sign up for an HP account, sign an agreement to (I'm sure) sell whatever data they can scrounge up from you, and download TWO, yes TWO, apps. Ridiculous waste of time and paper. It's constantly having technical issues and automatically printing tutorials for when it f---'s up. Ah yes! That's what I want! My printer to start randomly printing the same "Wireless Connection Guide" every time it struggles to connect to my bluetooth connection! What a wonderful feature! This printer is used in hell, it is the only printer available and my job is an overpaid secretary tasked with printing and scanning endless documents as demon boomers ask me to explain how to download the HP app and what all these buttons mean.

A toaster can do a better job than this printer.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I could give this printer a 0 rating I would. Constant errors, disconnects from Wi-Fi, can't reconnect to Wi-Fi, can't print pages you want it to print, however, can easily print the error page. If you could buy a toaster with a printing feature, it would do a better job than this. After spending over an hour on the phone with customer support, nothing got fixed, had to do a full factory reset, and still wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi, still tells me that HP Instant Ink cartridge is not compatible, and then follows with a fully printed page of why it's not compatible. HP Smart app is also horrible, virtual assistant is awful, and if you call their customer service, be prepared to listen to 5 minutes of "you can use or virtual assistance" or "here is how you can update your credit card information" even if you didn't call about credit card information.

WORST PRINTER EVER - DO NOT BUY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst printer I have ever owned. It had problems printing from the start. I had to call tech services at HP 6 times, and I even spoke to a supervisor - no one could fix the problem. I would spend hours on the phone with one tech who would "fix" the issue. Then, days later, my printer wouldn't print. I repeated this over and over again - the supervisor finally gave up and agreed that I needed to get rid of it. They kept telling me it was a "connectivity problem," which is ridiculous. The supervisor discovered this when he tried to fix the issue by connecting to the hotspot on my phone - so it was not my internet. DO NOT buy this - I wasted HOURS on the phone trying to fix this. It's a piece of junk. I then read online that HP printers are known for their "connectivity" issues. I am now in search of a NON HP printer.

Does not print when your internet goes down
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whatever you do, do no sign up for the Instant Ink service when you fire this thing up for the first time! It seems like a great deal at first, but then when your Wi-Fi goes down it will not print. It needs a full time internet connection to HP and will not work with a cord. I had an important report to submit and worked all night to get it done. It needed to be printed and submitted on paper. But my internet went down for almost 24 hours during a storm and the thing would not print. It took me a while to figure it out and when I did I was furious that HP could handcuff me like that hold me hostage because my Wi-Fi was down. I'll never do that again.

HP DeskJet 2755e inkjet printer.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer is perfect in black and white, but in color mode has artefactual lines that distort photos. I am going to replace the printer. Ideally I could trade it in, but I threw away both the packing and the sales documentation before I realized the problem.

Posted .Hi there.
I’m sorry that your printer has rendered prints of poor quality when using color. I can certainly understand why seeing lines and distortions in photo prints would be a tremendous disappointment. I want to help you resolve this problem, so I’ll direct you to some resources aimed at making that happen.
First, I recommend following the steps listed in a guide on our support site to improving print quality. Issues covered include faded or streaked prints, color or black ink not printing properly or at all, and blurred or fuzzy text. Find that guide here:

Do NOT buy this printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shortly after the time it expired for me to return this printer, it stopped connecting to my Wi-Fi and my laptop. Every time I try to print now, it says it’s off-line. I follow all the necessary steps including unplugging it and plugging it back in. When I use the software it shows that it’s connected to my Wi-Fi and even has the correct password but it never goes online. I can no longer use it. And I cannot return it to Best Buy because it’s gone past the 14 days. I’m unemployed and need a printer but just wasted the money on this one.

I’m sorry that your printer has stopped connecting wirelessly and that you’re unable to use it. It’s no surprise that you’re frustrated, considering you can’t remedy the problem and the retailer’s return period has passed. I want to help you get the printer connected and working like it should, so I’ll direct you to some resources aimed at making that happen.
First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity. You can find that page here:

I also suggest using this troubleshooter to tend to frequent connection inconsistencies:
- Windows: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04249080

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

Unreliable printer designed to track you.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is not a printer - it is designed to collect as much data from you as possible. For example, they want to open an account which requires you to log in so they can see everything you are doing. Mine also randomly goes "offline" and I could not get it to respond even when I used a USB printer cord. Last time it took several texts with support to fix the problem. That was about six weeks ago and it's back to being offline. Really sorry I bought it.

CONFUSED, AGITATED CUSTOMER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is not what I expected! Still have not been able to set it up! PLUS, IT DOES NOT FIT IN THE SPACE ON MY DESK! I went back to look at a picture of the one I ordered. I only looked at the photo which shows appears to be the front loading tray. This printer says it is a 2700e. My order was a different number. I AM CONFUSED! The instructions are not the best. I have it just sitting on my desk when I NEED IT!! I have the box still sitting in my bedroom, all the papers, NO PRINTER SETUP!! Can send pics to you via phone.
