Printer is great for home use. I used it to copy,scan, and print. You can also go to the HP+ App and send email. I signed up for their automatic ink replacement.

The set was very easy .I just use it for printing and copy I like the size of it and its a little quite then my cannon. It also take less time to warm up before i start printing.

Over all usage is easy, but is slow to print. Not happy about setup process. Box said would receive extra year warranty and 6 months of free ink. Unclear in the HP setup process and HP techs state that setup is one and done. So must get it right the first time and complete process.

Purchase was based on price. After purchase, some of the past reviews hold true especially setup problems. (1) It is very difficult to set up due to the additional printer app needed for setup. The app has programming flaws, which impact the setup especially connecting the printer to a router. The best solution to connect this printer to a router is to IGNORE THE APP & use the router "button" to search for the printer & connect it. (2) Another flaw with both the app & the printer itself is that it "goes to sleep" over time (hours). Once it goes to sleep, the printer shows an "offline status". It takes a significant amount of time (15 to 20 minutes) to "wake up" the printer via the automatic "troubleshooting" method. It is faster to turn off & back on the printer & reconnect it to the router (via the button) than it is to use the printer app or automatic printer troubleshooting process. (3) This might be a better operating printer if it was built using printer drivers instead of programmed for the special printer app. If you can afford a better printer, buy that one & skip this one altogether. Instant Ink for 6 months was included in my purchase. Setting up instant ink requires the special printer app, which is a pain to use versus standard printer drivers. Setting up & using instant ink is NOT worth the effort after the trial period.

The printer and cartridges are an exceptional value. WiFi installation was a breeze. Highly recommended.

I haven't had this long enough to give it a thorough rating, but so far so good. I don't need the wireless capability this has but its nice to know its there if I ever decide to go that route. Its quiet, it prints fairly fast once you get the settings right. Text is sharp and clear as are any images. I haven't tried any photos yet. Since I am what you might call an occasional printer, I don't need the Instant Ink feature at this time. Now, this printer is basically an upgrade from the one I had so the one thing I am not happy about is the ink cartridges are different from the old one, which I JUST changed before it quit working. Don't lose your USB cable, either. You will need one to get started and set up. The price was right, and you definitely get a good bargain.

I bought this to use as a copy machine, and it makes excellent copies. It's a little slow because I have to press the button twice or even three times to make the copies. Other than that, and the lengthy duration of setting it up at home, I am very happy with it.

It was so easy to set up, works with wifi, quick printing and copy. Excellent buy for the price.

i doesn't do everything that my office jet did, but it will take care my personal office. I'm not fond of the amount of paper it holds in the feed. I find I am filling it often. The ink cartridges were a little hard to get seated, because you can't see inside without a flash light to guide you.
