    So disappointed in HP

I had been a canon printer customer for many many years. When my last canon printer stopped working I decided to give HP a try. The printer is super slow. Paper tray is the worst in the world. Holds a few pages. I know I am exaggerating, but that's how I feel now. This is the 5th month since I have had this printer and the 2nd time I changed ink cartridge that HP+ instant ink program sent to me. The printer would not print normally. Printed pages with streaks, missing sections, or off-balance colors. Tried everything that I could do: head alignment several times and head cleaning several times with no success. Taking out the cartridges and reinstall several times. Today by chance saw that the black new cartridge body had a opening. I can see from this opening the foam sponge inside the cartridge. It seems that this was a defective injection molded cartridge. Well I am not even sure if the print issue is due to this cartridge defect. Tried long time to call HP, could never get to a person. What is the use of a service if you can't get to anybody when you need it! Super disappointed in HP! I would give it negative stars if I could.

Inexpensive printer that does everything you need. It connects to my wireless network without any internet problem and is immediately available for use across all of my digital devices and computers. Good product.

Do not bother with any HP printer product. Does not connect with the WPS and if by some miracle it does connect then it instantly disconnects. The printer is asleep, no it is not, the printer is ready, again no it is not. Reset default settings still nothing. Had it for a year and will never buy another HP product again. Forced to download a useless app to even begin to try to use this piece of absolute garbage. Stay away.

Well, what can i say. It works sometimes. It was very easy to setup with the USB-B (printer cable) but for some reason we could not said it up wirelessly. Im pretty competent and after an hour of trouble shooting I gave up and just ised the orinter cable and it worked… until the next time I needed it. I had to turn it off and and turn it back on each and every time i needed ti pront somethjng. For a product that should be somple and user frinedly this becaise a chore for no reason. To be honest, a minth later i bought ankther more expensive pronter that works flawlessly. I have brand new Lenovo laptop as well as multiple Apple comiuters etc. i was hoping this little printer would be a quick and simple product to use but i had so many issues just trying to print every couple days i had to give up on it. But: when it works it works just fine. Just my experience, and those may vary

This is the worst printer in the world. It never connects with my phone or computer. I’ve tried re-starting and many troubleshoots as recommended. I would rather throw it away and buy a new one vs. have to call and spend hours with customer service to fulfill a most basic function. PLEASE BE WARNED. DONT BUY THIS PRINTER

    Update the firmware

    |

The printer is alright but ONLY once you've updated the firmware. You also have to look up the firmware based on the model number on the google search bar not the hp printer update official website because it does not show up there. I had to refresh the Wi-Fi discover many times as well for it to finally find the network I needed and my apartment only has 6 in total. If you don't update the firmware it will say contacting printer for a whole 2 minutes and time out. I don't know if I'm allowed to share links on reviews but the link to the update is https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-2700-all-in-one-printer-series/29378157 it's the last option you just unplug and replug the printer wait for it to connect to internet again and ready status to update. I hope this saves someone from having to make a return when they don't have to because I was definitely going to but the price and look is good for a home that doesn't print much

This printer is exactly what I need for my personal use. It is compact and has all the features I wanted. It is reasonably priced, although it was not on display in the store. I had to shop online first and then go to two different stores to find it in stock.
