A good printer to have for simple copy/print jobs, which is what I really need it for. And the design is not bad either.

Great service and professional assistance. I had the problem in connecting my PC to the printer. One of BestBuy's tech, Mr. Bruce, helped me remotely to solve the issue, and connected.

Overall, I am happy with this printer. It does exactly what the description says. It prints documents well. I have not tried to print a picture so I am not sure what that would look like. Everything I have printed so far has printed very well. Installation was easy with the wi-fi. I just followed the online HP instructions off the download app on my computer. I do not own a cell phone so I do not know how that hook up would go. It says on the box, "keep it simple" and it does do just that. It does sound kind of "clunky" and cheaply made when it is turned on, starting up and getting ready to print. For the money, it is a good printer if you do not print a lot of things. I would recommend this printer.

I received my HP DeskJet 2755 yesterday. At 6 pm, when I finished work, I started with the set-up process. As many other reviewers have said here on this page, there are serious flaws with the software that enables this printer to be wireless. It doesn't bring a cable, so unless you have or buy the necessary cable, you are stuck with doing the set-up process through wi-fi, and this, in my case, has been a horror show and a nightmare. Let me go into detail. I plugged the printer and downloaded the HP Smart app to my iphone. The process seems to be easy... but it doesn't work. My iphone would pick up the printer (it shows on your list of wifi networks) but the app wouldn't recognize it. The app would try and try to connect to the printer, and failed every time for at least 2 hours. Two hours later, it finally picked up the printer!! YEY! Next step, the app needs to connect to my wifi network, but the app wasn't able to pick on ANY wifi network. I live in a building with 180 apartments - there are always at least 20 networks I can see on my phone or computer. Well, the app couldn't pick up ANY of those, including mine. I tried for a long time. At some point on the HP website I saw a warning saying that some printers could not connect to networks operating on 5GHz. I switched my devices to my 2.4GHz. Tried again, nothing. I then discovered another warning buried somewhere else on HP website saying that if several networks have the same name, it might cause problems for the printer and make it fail connecting. OK, I went to my info for my Linksys router, entered the password and changed the names of my networks (2.4 and 5) and disabled my guest network. That would correct that problem if that was it. But it wasn't, because it was still not finding any networks. I used the "virtual assistant" that HP offers, but it was no good. It is rubbish, don't even try it. On this age, the virtual assistant should ask what system you are using and personalize the response. Instead, for every question, it gives you 4 pages with the alternatives: for Microsoft, for Mac, for mobile... it takes a long time to read, and in the end it is of no help whatsoever. I tried from another phone. Same thing. By midnight, I have been 6 hours at it, skipped dinner, and was exhausted, on the top of angry and frustrated. I went to bed. I came back to it this morning. I have been working on it since 8.30 am. I decided to try to do the set up from my computer, a Mac. The first problem was that the HP Smart app wasn't compatible with my OS system, which was Sierra, a couple of years old. I love Sierra and had not wanted to change it, but I decided to do it, all for the purpose of being able to set up my new printer. It took a bit of time, but I was able to download HP Smart to my Mac. It would still not connect or recognize any of my wifi networks. I came back here to the reviews because I remembered that I had seen reviews with this complaint. I should have listened to them and not buy this piece of trash! I came because I thought maybe I could find an explanation and a solution from people that went through this and were finally able to connect it. But I didn't find anything useful. I saw the answers from HP customer service offering the completely trash system of the virtual assistant, and there was also a phone number. For an instant, I had hope. After following the instructions to get to technical support, they give you a recording: the instructions are to go to the virtual assistant and if that didn't work, then the virtual assistant would give you a case number, and you can call back with that number. Without it, they don't put you through with a support technician. Great. I did all the stupid things the virtual assistant tells you to do, AGAIN, to no avail. And I never got a case number, so nobody would answer my phone call. Wonderful... I finally found an account on Youtube of a man that should be hired by HP to help people. He explains things that HP doesn't explain ANYWHERE. Not only in the sad summary of a set-up guide that comes with the printer, but anywhere on HP website and on the HP "smart" app. With the instructions of this man's videos (the account is called "Copy Print Scan") I was finally able to set up the printer on my computer. SUCCESS!!! I scanned and printed and everything was working fine. So now I attempted to install it also on my iphone. I already had the HP smart app installed, so I followed the instructions... and again, it never found any wifi networks. OK, I thought, I will just use it from the computer, I can always email myself anything I have on the phone to print it from the computer. I went back to the computer only to find that where it said "Printer ready" now it said "unknown" (or maybe unavailable, I dont remember exactly). This happened at 4 pm today, so I had been 7 and a half hours today, plus 6 hours yesterday, trying to make this printer work, and I am back at ZERO. I came to write the review full of rage and frustration and anger so that I wouldn't get the printer and throw it out the window. Now I will walk to FedEx to print the return labels and I will be happy to get rid of this piece of trash. I wasted 13 hours of my life. Save your time and look for another printer.

This printer is a complete waste of money. I have had to reach out to HP for support since it will lose connection to Instant Ink services. They replaced the first one and I'm in the middle of another session for the same issue on the replacement. Their support is mostly inept also it seems. Trying to pass the cause of the issue off on things that are unrelated.

I was happier about how quickly my package came and the delivery guy was very accommodating. I am very thankful he was able to hide my package for me, I was nervous about it getting taken since you could see what it was but he helped me out a lot! The printer is nice and I can't wait to start printing at home and I'm happy it already comes with ink :) I haven't used it yet so I can't really tell you how well it works but I hope it's smooth and easy to use!
