Needed to have a printer while working out of town and needed to carry it in my luggage. This printer is perfect, works well, and was not expensive.

Love how compact the printer is. The ink is cheaper then my old computer, hoping it will not dry out as quickly as my previous printer. Great price. Installation was not as easy as reviews said. Perhaps it was me. The confusing part was the repeated notification that the network was not connected. Having a home computer and no network, I kept thinking I was not able to print. I needed to ask a friend to help and it took her and hour and a half. Trouble shooting and conversing with the Chat Help

We purchased this printer for my daughter for college. It is a nice little printer, perfectly adequate for the needs of a college student. One of the things that my daughter really likes about this printer is that it does have such a small footprint. As you should know, college dorm rooms are not exactly master suites, and any saving of space is appreciated. It does a good job of printing. I would purchase this product again, and would recommend it to others.

Set up was very easy, I was able to connect to my computer thru a hotspot on my phone to install and use this printer. I bought it for our Winnebago , it fits perfectly in front of the passenger seat underneath the dash.I scanned hundreds of pictures while parked in a campground.

I got tired of waiting until my boss leaves to use the work printer. one time he came back early and I almost got caught. My only solution was to get my own printer. I purchased this and WOW, it's exactly what I needed. just a simple print. It's way less confusing than my fancy work printer. TBH I think there's buttons on it that don't even do anything. That's not the case for this HP deskjet. I like it, it's perfect for students and it's compact.

Good printer, chose an HP due to past experience. This is a second printer for me, kept my big HP for bigger projects. This printer is nice and slim, lightweight, slipped into my small office very easily. Was reality easily to set up and establish wireless capability. The only complaint I have is that sometimes when I have not used it in a while, it seems to go offline when I go to print. I shut it off and restart and it seems fine afterward. Again, that is when I have not used it in many days.

In my experience, was confusing to install - however did finally get it installed but sure seemed much harder than any other printer I've ever had and I've had quite a few....but never wireless (maybe that was the issue). I love the color - I got the green, I call it Seafoam Green. I have printed quite a few online recipes that contain color pics - I just checked and haven't used much ink - so that seems good. The print quality seems very good to me. ***Very important - make sure you make your wireless connection SECURE - after installing the printer, I checked the list of connections in my area...the printer was listed BUT it said the connection was "unsecured" - YIKES. Sorry, but I don't remember what I did to secure it.

I felt excited to find a small enough photo printer to fit my new location set up. The instructions were not working completely so I had tech support come set it up. They did not use the instructions but successfully set it up. Hence, set up can be complicated. The instant ink set up did not work. Tried the instructions given in the set up. This option did not work. So will not have instant ink options. If you can work it out good luck. There is a number to call for help with instant ink. The printer itself works very well for black and white paper printing or even color printing on regular paper. It smears when on photo paper. Printing photos was the main reason I purchased it. Even days later if I touch the photo, it may simply smear, and I have ink on my hands. Looking for different photo paper in hopes it works better. To me the main drawback is not being able to print photos on photo paper. It does print different size photos which some photo printers do not. I wanted photo size choices for projects. Really hope getting different photo paper makes a difference. Again color on regular or fancy office paper works nicely.

Nice printer though it took me a while to figure out how it all set up. I am not as tech savvy as some people are but I was finally able to figure it out. It prints great and I like the small size as it doesn't take up as much room on my desk as my old printer.

The smaller size is amazing! My last printer took up half of the cabinet it sat on. There are a couple of features that some people might miss - no auto duplex printing & having to start scans from the computer rather than a touch screen on the printer - but the quality of the printing, the size, the look of out and the up to date HP features are worth it. I was skeptical about the HP Instant Ink thing, but it's actually really good.

This is by no means a top of the line printer , but if your only use is for printing documents its perfect. Haven't tried to print any photos yet ... but the documents have printed out very good so far . And the size is perfect if your space is limited .

It prints great, colors and black and white. Quality seems great. I've been using it for a straight week and you can choose to use either color or just black. Ink seems to last well within the quantity of the amount I have been using it for. Which is 5-19 pages a day. If you have the option on your mobile phone it prints what your looking at. I have only had one issue and It would be that I wish the option for a "draft" type of quality. For faster copy of something of less important. The wireless network works great and if you have any problems with that , you can connect it with the traditional printer to computer cable connector. So far I give it a 4 just because I have not really sat down and tried to modify anything else. The program did seem a bit slow on the initial downloading for the program but hey. It's a mini copy scanner printer. You really need something larger if your wanting more than one paper for copying or scanning at a time. I'm loving it.

I needed a small all in one for the space it had to go into. Printers started getting rather large compared to what they were years ago and it was getting hard to find one to fit in the space. It's a cheap printer, feels like a cheap printer and I don't know how long it'll last but it may surprise me. HP claims it to have a 1000 page per month duty cycle and I don't print anywhere near that number so maybe it will last 4 or 5 years ... or maybe not. I've only owned this a couple of days and so far all the functions seem to work OK. It was very difficult to set up using a wifi network with a security password so one word of advice - use your smart phone to install it on a secure network. The phone set the printer up quickly after I struggled for quite a while on the computer. Also, you need to log into the printer for internet access and it asks you for a password - I found it is either just the "enter" button or "space" then "enter" buttons. Once I got it all set up it seems to be working OK. One thing I've always hated with the 2 ink cartridge system is wasting some unused expensive ink; I've signed up for the trial of the instant ink program to see if it is more economical to do it that way. I took away 1 star because of the setup and how cheap it feels. I would have probably bought a little better all in one if they made more (and the store having more options at the time of purchase) of the size I need. If it lasts for 4+ years based on my usage that will be great.
