Since it is compact there is no flat surface for paper to be scanned rather a feed type scanning system. So you won’t be able to scan thick materials like passport or part of a book. I bought this for my kids school work.

Wireless had to be set up by Geek Squad, which they did. However, when my unreliable internet went out I was never able to connect back with wireless. Love the smaller size.

The printer it self is nice. It looks good next to the IMac. Only complaint I would have. Is how slow it is compared to others printers. For the price. It’s not an issue.
