    My previous HP printer died so I had to purchase a replacement. Most of the new models are too large for my drawer space hence I bought this one. It is horrible on all accounts. There is not one thing I like about it. The product is VERY cheaply made and goes sooooooo slow. I hate it. Stay are far away from this printer as possible!!!

    Doesn't work with Chromebook

    I purchased a printer that is supposed to be compatible with a Chromebook. I haven't been able to get it to work. The online instructions point me toward the manual that came with the printer, and the manual points me back to the website. Going in circles. I plugged it in with a USB and I still can't get it to work.

    The printer never worked. Didn’t hook up like it was supposed to. After going through tech support they were unable to get it to wirelessly hook up. The printer did print up my homework assignments for a couple weeks through the wired connection but eventually that failed to work as well. I took it back and got a different printer. This one was just awful.

Our main priority with this service is delivering ink conveniently while helping our customers save money spent on cartridges. As our plans offered are based on the number of pages you print, the amount of ink used in the process is a non-factor. I fully understand your concern though, so I'd love to see how I can help.

      I do have a few suggestions for lowering overall ink consumption, with the first being using your printer's Draft Mode. This often improves ink usage, as does setting the printer to black and white.

    Disappointing, even for a low-end printer

    Easy to set up and very compact, which was a big selling point. As to performance, it's very disappointing. Connectivity via a USB cable is sketchy, sometimes requiring the host computer to be rebooted to get the print queue to be processed. I have not tried the WiFi connection yet, which may or may not be any better; I have several other HP printers that suffer from WiFi connectivity issues, hence this negtive characteristic may be endemic with HP printers in general. The print speed is glacial. It can take a couple of minutes to print a single page. The scan feature works decently enough. though one has to manually feed in pages and ditto for creating copies. Yes, this is designed to be a low-end, compact printer with a low duty cycle, but I did not anticipate the performance and stability to be this low.

    This printer lasted a mere 11 months before suddenly refusing to connect to our home WiFi. HP support was useless and rather insultingly asked us to pay for support. We now have a non-functional printer.

    This has been a very disappointing purchase, quality of the print isn't good. It takes longer than any other printer would take to printer, making the product compact has compromised it's efficiency. The scanner is the worst part, had to scan each document multiple times to get a proper scan. From my experience use this scanner only if you have time to scan multiple times not for emergencies. Ease of printing through phone and app is good, I guess it's same with all the hp printers. I was going to return the product unfortunately I missed the deadline for returns.

    After 7 months we needed to setup the printer with the USB connection. No connection was able to be made. Coincidentally, the Geek Squad had another on of these printers in earlier with the exact same problem. If you don't need to setup the printer with a USB connection it worked fine for a low volume situation.

    Directions on how to use via download was difficult and printer ended up not working. Attempted for days with no success. Had to return. Size was perfect and was disappointed that I couldn't get it to function.

    Basically the item seems not to operate as intended however unsatisfied in the setup and many operations / tasks for setup to function properly as intended. Too, there is not pullout leaver to aid / assist in document feed for satisfactory document feed for scanning.
