Absolutely great printer for the money. It does everything it says it does and I haven’t encountered any issues with it yet. Highly recommended!

Faulty model; Not a reliable HP printer

I do not recommend buying this product - and especially the protection plan with it. I have had HP printers that lasted for several years. Little troubleshooting here and there - but always easy to resolve. This printer has had functionality issues in staying connected to a network after only a few months using. I have tried everything form HP Smart to my network provider resetting my router; only ever got it to print 1 document one more time - never got it to work again after that. Protection Plan requires you to take into store for a fix. Not worth it for a inexpensive item like this to set an appt at a Best Buy Store to 'try to repair'.

I got this printer and loved how nice it looked and it works well with the Bluetooth, but I’ve had a troubleshoot a lot of stuff because now it is not printing correctly and I’ve been going through a lot of ink even though I don’t print a lot, and the printing is not great-I don’t know if this is just a dud, but I don’t know if I would recommend

I love HP ansld always buy them but this printer is horrible. The wireless is a joke....takes forever to spoil a simple black and white letter and has error issues after each page. My son bought an HP for less and is 100% better than this model.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer was difficult to connect, and that it has displayed errors after each print. It’s easy to understand why that would be extremely frustrating, especially considering you’ve had good experiences with HP products, so I’ll offer some information and resources I hope will help.

First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various problems, including connectivity issues. There you’ll also find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning issues. Visit that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

If the problem persists, I hope you’ll get in touch with us directly for support at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and guide you through any applicable troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

I would give it no stars if it was a option. It didn't stay connected to the wifi. When I bought the USB cord still wouldn't work. Had to return the printer to Best Buy. They had no printers in store. Had to go online and buy another one...

This is the most annoying printer I have ever had!!!!! It wont stay connected to the wifi, the prints are half cut, the prints come out smeared. The app is ridiculous. Dont waste your money. I should have spent a little more and gotten something better.

I needed a printer in a hurry. It gives a decent copy, but not as good as my Kodak all in one that just died. Also the directions for use were not that good. I had to watch a vide to finish the instillation. The last thing that got me was that this model was not on the list for the HP ink program.

Honestly it was great. Maybe I had bad luck but stop working after 3 months with half level on back ink. HP told me it was a driver issue and they dont cover that. Tried to get back online several times but didnt work. when working i loved it but very disappointed that the driver HP sends out didnt work

This is the perfect printer for home use; we don't need to print things very often, but it does the job. It also will scan and fax so it's all we need. So far very satisfied with purchase.
