I bought his as a replacement for a larger HP and thought that this would fit the bill. The scanner is a joke. The print quality is minimal, and it is flimsy. i thought of returning it but I cannot find the box to pack it up and take it back. Just going pack it away and break it out if a real printer breaks.

Print quality wasn't great, to be sure, but for home use it was satisfactory. The second time I used the printer, it told me the black ink cartridge needed replaced. Really? After printing only once? I bought a new cartridge and replaced it and printed two documents. The third time I used it, I got an E2 error message that kept telling me the door was open. No, the door was not open. I finally got the error message to clear by plugging and unplugging; now it prints nothing but blank pages. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, until I'm blue in the face and this printer doesn't print anything but blank pages. It's getting the print command and goes through the motions, but continues to spit out blank pages. I'm done. This was a huge waste of money.

I use to be proud of HP products but now I am VERY DIPLEASED with them .
