The design of the paper catcher is curved and not a good thing because it prints kind of slow and then towards the end of the printing it just shoots the page out which jams into that curve instead of it rolling out nice and flat . Will look for better on my next printer.

Nice little printer, not a great scanner

The scanner has caused some issues due to the design of the printer. Scanning quality is fine, but sheets can only be loaded one at a time, and will sometimes get stuck on the printer infeed and not scan properly. Do NOT buy it for anything more than occasional casual scanning. The printer functionality is just fine for a printer at this price point.

Good printer for the price

It is slower than my old printer, but gets the job done. I didn't realize that it didn't have a flat bed scanner when I bought it. You won't be able to scan the page of a book with this scanner. Set up was not as easy as you would think. HP seems to make this more difficult than it needs to be.
