Some times disconnection occurs but connection gets back fairly soon. Similar to equivalent printers. Nice because is small. However the cost of ink and printing is outrageous. It is far beyond any reasonable expectation in terms of cost. Even if you do few prints. Ink prince must be lowered. HP should correct this ASAP. These are the kind of issues the so bad affect the reputation of known companies. HP is hurting itself and printing as a whole.

We were wrong! In this case you definitely get what you pay for. The ink cartridges literally only last for 30 pages. Which is a huge inconvenience. I guess if you need a printer but don't plan on printing anything, it's great buy.

I’m sorry to hear that the ink cartridges that came with your printer ran out so soon. I can certainly see why that would be an unwelcome surprise, so I’ll offer some information and resources that I hope will help.
First, I can’t say what happened in your case, but what you describe can happen when a printer is sold, returned to the seller, then sold again without being adequately inspected. So first you might contact Best Buy about this possibility. Alternately, some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less yet than ones in our Instant Ink program. A third possibility is the printer is not reading the cartridges correctly and is giving an inaccurate reading.

However, the salesperson didn’t listen to our request to have it shipped to the store in the town our daughter goes to college at. It was delivered to our house instead. Our daughter needed the printer and we had to cancel our plans to take the 100 round trip to deliver it ourselves.
