Good refurb laptop for my teenage student

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very impressed with this laptop for my teenage daughter to use primarily for school. Cosmetic condition was excellent and it is working like a brand new device. This is not in any way a top-of-the-line laptop & I knew that when purchasing it, but it will be an excellent one for schoolwork & attending her online classes during the COVID pandemic. It's a little heavier and thicker than other laptops because it has a DVD drive built-in, but that was a bonus as far as my daughter was concerned since she can use it to watch movies. (We did have to download the VLC media player online to make that work.) The only other setup we had to do was entering the new Windows product key, but the sticker with the code was on the bottom of the laptop & there were clear directions from the refurbisher in the box with the laptop. Overall, great experience and good laptop for light/student computing.
