Operating system was corrupted. In store customer service was poor. Total tech was of no assistance. That program is a waste of money.

Wi-Fi issue, I had to get laptop for repair 2 time and get fix by geek squard. Keep changing hardware for Wi-Fi.

Ive owned this laptop for 4months now and ive noticed some hardware functionality changes like speed of uploading/downloading speeds,battery life, fan noise from when i first got to now. I go to school for Mechanical & Aerospace engineering and I do a lot of coding in visual studios and matlab. I have an issue a lot with compiling speeds data leaks, which is typical out of an i7 processor but not of the 9 . Also in the past month ive observed my battery life draining quicker than before and I was like oh maybe its because how much stuff I have running or installed on the computer, full whiped it and put everything on an external and it still died fast and moved laggy/slow. The display is responsive with a finger but do not try and use a stylus pen because it wont work. I think this computer would be a 5 star If it wasnt 1800 dollars id go for 12-1300. If you have the money I would recommend if you are doing digital designing/ engineering designs or coding a lot.

Oh my. I purchased this laptop when it was on sale for $1450...instead of 1750 like it's currently listed...so I'm going to review it as a $1500 laptop. I'd been eyeing this model for over a year...but all the Envy 16 models that were reviewed came with 3060 gpus, and the older intel CPU (not even the i9...the i7). So, I'd been checking for months, on a weekly basis, to see if HP would release this model with the 4060 gpu... ... I could type for about 8 pages...but let me get to the point. This is an amazing Windows 11 laptop. I'd argue, that it's just as good as any Macbook you can get for under $2000 with it's dedicated GPU and the i9 cpu. Of course, the Apple silicon is the best value (battery life, HEAT) on the market... but this HP laptop is crazy nice. My favorite feature? The speakers. I don't think anyone will mention how good this device sounds, but it's literally the best sounding laptop I've ever listened to spotify on. I only have an 8 year old retina Macbook Pro to compare it to...but this laptop's audio is better. The only downsides (plural) I've encountered are... 1) Battery life is only half as good as the M1 and M2 based Macbooks 2) I tried to install a Linux distro alongside my Windows 11 partition and the laptop runs too hot for my taste under that environment. If I don't encounter any earth shattering hardware issues over the next six months I'll give this purchase a resounding 9 out of 10 stars on the happy meter.

So the first one i bought died as i was trying to update the software. Took it back to Bestbuy and their geek squad couldn't fix it. Since i had just bought it, they immediately just gave me a new computer in exchange. 2nd compter is sweet. Love the speed. Takes nothing to download software and run it. It has been over a month and wouldnt trade this for a different one. I read in some comments that others had problems right out of the shoot. However, Bestbuy always takes care of me.

Got this on sale for $1099 which was an absolute steal! The laptop is fast, has great speakers and camera and can handle everything I throw at it for my intensive business. I also did some gaming on it and it plays all major titles super smooth with the 4060 and 120hz refresh rate. If you can get it on sale its probably the best laptop purchase you can make at best buy. Even paying full price you will be happy.

I love everything about this laptop. Great color, great display, response time, backlit keyboard...who could ask for more? This purchase replaced another laptop I have bought over a year ago. That laptop was a different brand, had to return to an HP for the performance and ease of use.

Very powerful laptop with really good graphics card and amazing display. CPU will satisfy even very intensive virtual machine usage, while RTX 4060 will satisfy most gaming and video encoding needs. All of this is topped off with very good battery life and touchscreen!

Nice computer, fast, runs 3D applications great. Windows 11 is kind of annoying, but not much you can do there. Screen is very sharp. Sound is great for a laptop. Got it at a great price.

I have had my HP Envy 16-h1023dx for a week and so far I love it! I've edited videos with Premiere Pro while downloading images and editing them in Photoshop without any hesitation or hiccups. It's thin and light and the battery life has been excellent! I love having two USB C Thunderbolt ports as well as HDMI. The micro SD slot is nice too, although a full sized SD slot would be better. I just use the SD card adapter in my camera and easily slip the micro SD out and into the laptop. It scored very high in Cinebench. I really love it so far.

I needed a good laptop for my degree in computer engineering and this laptop will do the job. For everything that this laptop holds, it's pretty light and compact.
