Poor sound

The screen clarity is excellent and the lighted keyborad is great when in a darker atmosphere. The sound on this laptop is a total disappointment, however. The sound seems to be coming from bottom speakers and nothing from the top. This is a laptop and when placed on your lap you can't hear much of anything, but muffled sound. Not a Best Buy issue at all, but an HP issue. I am in hopes that the Geek Squad and do something about the speakers for me.....they do know their stuff!!!
