I changed from a desktop to this laptop. Laptop has better sound and I can take it room to room. It's a bit heavy but not a big deal. This is easy to use and no problem seeing the keys like some reviews say.

Great remote from home computer. Large screen and 10 keypad make it a workhorse from remote work. Portable enough for some vacation work but not for a travel pro. Screen is beautiful to work on.

Excellent replacement for my old hp. The 12th version of the i7 chip makes it eager and super responsive to my input. I knocked off one star as my original internet order called for a 1 T ssd and they substituted a 512gig ssd configuration which I didn’t realize til I had used it for a while. My bad!!

This model is intuitive. The 17 in screen is great for viewing emails, movies, videos, etc. More than what i wanted to spend but worth it.

Great computer with all the features we were looking for including a 10-key at a great price point. SSD makes startup quick and I7 processor makes running multiple applications a breeze.

My new laptop is doing everything I wanted it to do. I especially compliment the Best Buy Geek Squad for cleaning out the spyware that the "false geek squad" had put on my computer during the set up.

Works as advertised. Good buy and love how effortlessly things went.

I was looking for a specific size screen and 10 key features which would be able to handle the type of work I perform. This laptop is beyond my expectation of what I was looking for in a laptop.

This laptop's features, fulfil most of my basic computer requirements.

Bought this to replace ASUS that was too old to admit I kept it that long. This new computer fits my needs and more. Nice looking. I am exceptionally pleased with my purchase and it was on sale!

When a description says lightening fast processor, this is what they mean! Super fast, beautiful display, and under 1k..would definately buy again!!! Hubby did good finding this one!

Tl;dr I bought a laptop then replaced with the same model and had the same issue. I bought this laptop in January. My previous HP Pavilion of 8 years started having problems that I was told couldn't be fixed. So I decided to be loyal to the brand and get another HP laptop. Huge mistake! It gave me issues from day 1. The keyboard stopped working and would proceed to go out at least once a day for the vast majority of the 2 months I had it. The screen would also go black for a second and then reload the page. And the light would show on the power button after shutting down, making me worried it was wasting battery life. They keyboard would work again after restarting, but that's inconvenient and unexpected for a brand new laptop. A month after purchasing, I took it to Geek Squad so they could fix it. I had tried troubleshooting on my own with no luck. They said they couldn't replicate the problem but had removed 6 viruses. This was weird considering I bought the laptop new from them and used the antivirus that came with myTotaltech membership. After another few weeks of frustration, I called HP themselves to have them troubleshoot. This didn't work, and they were going to troubleshoot more and potentially have one of their certified service centers try to fix it. Funny enough Best Buy is on that list, so I decided not to chance it and instead got a replacement. Thankfully as a Totaltech member, the return/exchange period is 60 days. My HP warranty didn't cover refunds or exchanges, so I would've been SOL without it. I was getting down to the wire and didn't want to keep trying to fix it just to mess up again after the 60 days passed. Unfortunately, after getting excited about my new laptop yesterday I had the same problem after only a couple hours. I continued researching the problem last night and just kept seeing people say it was a Windows issue. So I was going to wash my hands of all of this and get a MacBook Pro. I ended up explaining the situation to the same guy who assisted me yesterday. He revealed he had seen this with other HP laptops and recommended a different brand. I'm crossing my fingers my Samsung Galaxy Book3 works as intended because all I want is a laptop that works.

nice machine but routinely locks up and has to be rebooted

Bought the computer to send with my son to college. I like it better than my HP Omen that I bought 2 years ago. I have checked in with my son and the computer is working well.

I love the size of this personal computer. The brightness and the size of the monitor it’s perfect for my activities. Did I mention that the keyboard has lights? I love it!

Worked good the first 3 months, but now won't turn on. Because they are not sure if it's the power cord or the lappy itself, I have to take it in to the nearest Best Buy, which is 2 hrs from here. Rather disappointed.

I like my computer. It took a bit to get use to the difference from my old computer. My wife helps me when I need to find something. I like the larger screen
