Fast Laptop

This one is very fast. The only downside is that the letters on the keys don’t stand out. White letters on silver keys is difficult for aging eyes. It’s not a problem for me because I can type 60 wpm, but for my husband who types with just his index fingers, it’s a challenge.

The only thing is I didn't realize that there is not a dvd player on this laptop. However, I did get a great buy and I really enjoy using the touch screen.

Great laptop!

The learning curve has been substantial, but my new Envy is worth it. It has everything I could want, and I love all the bells and whistles. Worth every penny. I am legally blind, so I love the lighted keyboard and bigger characters. I can use it at night without turning on lights. I am surprised about how much better the clarity is on the screen is, and how much bigger is is due to the thinner framing.

HP Envy 17.3" Laptop

In the less than 2 years between those two the operating systems had changed so that I couldn't load and use my old Microsoft Works programs. And other things had gone from using my old disks to subscription only services for Quicken and Photoshop. The laptop itself is sturdy, has a nice clear screen, and comfortable keyboard. I'm sure it has a lot more speed and storage than I'll ever use since I use it for home use only.
