I was looking for something that was portable, with a long battery life, a nice screen and had many rams. I am able to play solitaire on ultra settings with no lag or slowdown. Everything works. I installed windows 11 ( not everything worked). I have no experience with laptops. The keys are nice. The track pad is nice. I am nice.

Screen failure after very light and stationary use

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After very light use over 16 months, and after sitting stationary for those 16 months, a gray shadow appeared on lower left of the screen; a strip of lighting seems not to be working, and tech shop says entire screen needs to be replaced. Otherwise, it is a nice-looking machine and the touch screen a needed feature. But a new screen after light and completely stationary use! C'mon, help me out.

Excellent computer so far

I only give it 4 stars now as I have only begun to use it and don't have enough info yet to give it any other rating. I got it to replace my older Toshiba Qosmio lapop which is over 9 yrs. old and has slowed down a lot and i' figuring I needed a newer laptop. I have had other HP computers, both desktop & laptops, and they have worked well. So far, so good. AND Best Buy was the best place for me to get this & the associate at Best Buy was very helpful to me when I got it at the store. Good job----well done
