over priced but does what I needed, and the startup is much better than the old one of the same brand and configuration.

The phone connection works when it wants to. For the money I'm not impressed.

so far ok you will have to adjust the back lite for the keyboard unless you want it to go off every 5 seconds

It is very slow, we do not use it because it is slow. We use the old one. But the picture is very nice.

Within ONE week the laptop refused to turn on. PLEASE read the 1 star reviews. They are not wrong. Frail, poorly designed laptop. After it failed to turn on I was very busy with work so SADLY I missed the return window and then had to go through HP support to have them "fix" it. They said they replaced the battery. I got it back from HP a few days later and within 2 weeks the SAME EXACT problem. Laptop wouldn't turn on. But a different one. Trust me.

Bought for my wife for her birthday. The sound card was defective, couldn’t use mic on zoom calls. Geek squad couldn’t repair so they offered a replacement. I can’t get the same PC model I bought because it sold out.

it is an okay purchase - the previous purchase made three years ago was much better

I am really surprised with the noise coming out when the computer is on. I realize the same early in the morning. One month after i bought it, i can no more be hear when using headphone. I am able to hear others but they can't hear me, the same headphone works perfectly on the computer i used before getting this one

Work great for 11 months, then stop charging. Tech was no help. Since this get used daily, I cant have this down for a month for repairs, I have to buy another laptop.

This PC is not user-friendly. I am having a difficult time navigating all the apps. The built-in microphone is not working with zoom meetings.

This computer is overpriced and very delicate. Dont bother purchasing this product. If you do decide to purchase make sure you purchase the terrible protection plan. Don’t bother purchasing the extended length plans as you will use it fairly quickly and it will cancel the plan out resulting in you having to purchase another one.

If you ever have an issue HP support this useless. Will never buy HP again. Other than that this is a good system if you never want to upgrade anything in it.

This probably has nothing to do with best buy, but I only just opened the laptop 2 days ago, and already the battery is not charging. am going to have to probably call HP, that kind of disappointing for a new laptop. when plugged in, it just says plugged in but it doesnt even go anywhere from the 6% its at, and dies when unplugged, was really hoping this laptop would be able to serve me for school this semester.

Functionality is as expected for this class of laptop, however, after 10 months an intermittent dark spot appeared on the screen. The laptop is under warranty, but finding live support has been next to impossible. I've worked in IT for 20 years, with end user and enterprise products, and I've never encountered support this poor for new products. My advice: only buy Dell, on the consumer level

HP-ENVY 17.3 TOUCH SCREEN LAPTOP - The most troublesome computer ever. WiFi Adapter keeps shutting off preventing access to WiFi and Internet. Declined renewal of Total Tech package after year one. WiFi shut off after non renewal? Can Best Buy shut down the WiFi card? I have 3 HP laptops and the Oldest is the Best performing.
