HP continues to disappoint with its compatibility with windows 11. I constantly have to deal with driver issues between their hardware and software. And now the battery is bloating for no reason. I guess these devices arent meant to last more than few years.

The good: wonderful screen; the largest among windows laptops as far as I was able to find. I bought this unit so that I could make business presentations onsite and the screen is wonderful for this purpose. Processing speed is also quite good. The bad: The keyboard is a disaster. No backlighting, Letters/numbers are gray on a silver background: very hard to read. The keys have a slippery aluminum surface that invites many typos. Also, the product information is printed on the back of the case in such a small font that you can't read it and the QR code that also has this information is too small for my iPhone to read.

The first is the keyboard contrast is not significant enough with the color of the keys being silver and the light barely being a different color, especially in daylight. Many times I need to sit directly OVER the keyboard to read it properly. The second is that the rubber gasket that elevates the laptop off hard surfaces moves around and exposes the adhesive. I spoke with service about it and they told me to super glue it. I did, it didn't stay on, so now I have a clear piece of tape all the way across each of the 2 gaskets to hold them in place. Disappointing. Performance rating 5, design rating 3.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is soon out of circulation. Very muted sound from the speakers - my 2008 Toshiba Satellite and 2014 Asus can kick the pants off this HP piece of mediocrity any day. HP customer service is pathetic to non-existent.

There is a very small border around the edges of the screen, making the screen even bigger then you would expect. I am very happy with my purchase, and I am glad that I got a really good computer.
