Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the ENVY laptop's large screen, ease of use, price, and battery life. The large screen is great for various tasks, and the laptop is user-friendly. Many customers find the price reasonable for the offered features. Additionally, the battery life impresses users, allowing for extended usage without frequent charging. However, some customers mention the laptop's weight as a minor inconvenience, and a few users have encountered issues with the built-in microphone during video conferences.

Extremely disappointing graphics card by Intel. The IrISx card is total garbage. Cannot support the software I bought to use on the machine. Cannot even support a 2nd monitor, it constantly bugs out to the point where I have to force a re-start, it will work until the computer falls asleep and then it needs to be re-started again. For 1300 I expected better. My 5 year old Envy works better than this one.

Looks like I'm the only unlucky one here - I received a brand new lemon. (The screen randomly, but constantly, blanks out; it normally will come back to life after about 20 minutes, but flickers incessantly & nauseatingly.) Purchased an extended warranty from HP, but they refuse to honor it. Just based on this one purchase, HP is nothing but a frustrating & disgusting waste of money. Wishing you all the best, & hope you don't have to endure what I have.

I've had this for a little while now (couple years?) but i've only gotten to use it for like, a total of 5 months. That's because it's been trash shortly after purchase. A couple months after I got it it already showed signs of dying. It started lagging in use, then it started to lag at start up (took about 30 minutes to get to the screen where I could log in, then another 30 minutes to pull up my actual screen). Eventually it would always just blue screen upon power up. Then, the battery died even though I didn't use it! You could argue that batteries just naturally lose power over time but I think the three 7 - 10 year old laptops under my bed would disagree, which turn on even though I power them up once a year and after a quick 1hr charge. TUrns out the harddrive died. Got that and the battery replaced. Its been about 2 1/2 months and it's starting to show the exact same symptoms as before. Oh, and the soundbar is like, dying too somehow? My volume will randomly shoot up or down w/o any input via buttons. It'll make this weird crackling sound, as if I just started a campfire, and then the other week the sound just completely vanished (however, you could still hear stuff if you plugged in headphones). I've never had this many issues w/ a single laptop before in my entire life.

Buyer beware!!!!!!!!! These laptops don’t last

Purchased Hp laptop 15t, i7, 12gb ram laptop through HP.com on Black Friday weekend 2019. Battery failed and had to be repaired under warranty. I should have taken this as a sign. Shortly after the laptop returned from repair the screen started failing. It would cut out to black screen while in use. The computer continued to work intermittently with the built in monitor and performed fine with a external monitor. I finally took the laptop in for repair at a local shop. There diagnostic determined that there was a short in the motherboard that was effecting the monitor. So the computer now requires an additional $350 to be repaired (replace the motherboard). HP support is impossible to reach. Needless to say I have an expensive plastic paperweight. If you are ok with a laptop that won’t even last two years, buy an HP. Otherwise, buy something else. I certainly will in the future. What a shame that they have such poor products and poorer customer support.
