This is a replacement for an older HP Envy laptop and the upgrades are obvious - faster processor (old wasn't bad-this is better). Brighter screen and excellent sound of course - nice neat features - bottom line yes it's worth the little more it cost to get this one.

I needed a 17-inch replacement laptop and after looking at many I decided to get this HP-Envy Touch-Screen. I have been very satisfied. Very fast, beautiful screen and keys are easy to type on. Lightweight and thin for easy taking on business trips.

I have had years of experience with HP products including desktop and laptop models! They have always been reliable and This laptop fits my every need and then some! It is fast, and I like the feel of it. In addition, the large touchscreen is excellent!

The screen seems huge and the display is crisp and clear. Sound is great. It appears sturdy but is quite heavy for daily treks, which is both good and bad. It could have a few more ports and include an ethernet connection. Haven't had a chance to transfer files or download software or adapt to the system changes but seems to be fast and efficient, everything I need a hardworking laptop.

Just bought this laptop — the sound quality is super low and it’s quiet. It’s also heavy. The screen size is great though, so if you don’t mind the weight or low volume, that’s good. I will be returning this. It’s just not for me. I expected better from the pricing.

Best laptop I've ever owned, seriously. The speed is incredible, the design is beautiful and the display is tight. Only downside is there's no CD ROM but the thin design is great and you can always buy a USB external CD ROM.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. The keys light up which my old one did not. I like the side number keypad. This one has a fingerprint pad. I'm enjoying setting it up. Lightweight and easy to use.

I am very satisfied with my new computer. I like the larger screen since I work with pictures on my computer. The computer is easy to operate and the transition to Windows 10 has been smooth. I also enjoy the convenience of the touch screen.

Great laptop! My 3rd HP 17" laptop. We use it as a "tv" while traveling & also as desktop with large monitor at home. So far no issues. Geek Squad was great help with setup & walked me thru several procedures when I picked it up.

If you want a larger laptop this is a good one. it's great for those of us with below average vision. It runs well, and many laptops today don't have a number pad, so that's a bonus.

love it. Don't know how I ever typed without the touch screen. It has everything I need. love the 17.3"screen. Though it says battery life is up to 9 hrs (that is if it is just sitting). It actually lasts 3 hrs on a charge.

HP Envy 17.3 Computer was a gift for my son and he loves it! It has been such a big help as he only had his phone before and now he can accomplish so much! He is using many of the different programs to teach himself new skills!!

I absolutely love everything about this laptop. I am still getting used to how big it is, but I have been using it almost every day for lesson plans and work. I will start using it for online college courses in a few weeks.

I did reviews before I purchased, I am happy with what it offers. It’s writing all my assignments for class. It’s big but I don’t mind, I’m very happy with my purchase.

This is a great laptop. Bought it to use for telecommuting on nice days when working on the deck or porch is a possibility. It has more then enough horsepower to get the job done for work tasks. Not a great choice for gaming if that's what you're looking for, but that wasn't my use case. The only drawback for me is that the screen is super, super reflective, so it is very hard to see sometimes ourdoors on sunny days if you're not in the shade. This, however, is a minor issue as if I'm working on the deck, I'm at a table with a sunbrella opened and providing shade.

After struggling with the previous computer that I purchased 3 weeks prior to purchasing the HP-ENVY 17.3, transitioning into my new computer was such a Blessing! My HP has a light that comes on when you touch it to turn the computer on. The previous computer had no light and would not turn on! HP obviously took into consideration having their customers enjoy their computer experience! I'm actually using my HP more as I don't feel intimidated by worrying if the computer will start, etc. The previous computer required me to be at Best Buy getting Geek Squad assistance pretty near every day after purchase. My HP allows me to enjoy using the computer and not be waiting for computer help. Big Difference! Thank you HP!

I bought a wonderful new HP Envy laptop. Chris Vogt from the Geek Squad came and set it up for me. He even transferred my e-mail addresses to the new machine. Everything is working perfectly. I love it.

Great screen size - new technology compared to our 12 year old laptop. Fairly easy to make the trasition. Sales person answered all questions for us so we could make an educated decision on our purchase.

I am still enjoying my HP ENVY, into my second year with it.

Enjoying my HP Envy 17.3. Love the larger screen with split screen and touch screen. Perfect for my needs. Eliminated my 2 monitors and large desk top computer. Highly recommend it.
