My Labtop

It comes on so easy and even though the whole thing is silver I can still see the letters on the keyboard. I wish that they give you a longer trial period for Microsoft Office. My only thing is it is hard for me to find a labtop bag and covers for it because of the size of it. Overall I love it

Faulty Motherboard

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased an HP Envy 17.3" touchscreen laptop on 2/19/2022 for $1,371.88 and in April 2023 the motherboard and battery needed to be replaced. I would reasonably expect the motherboard to last at least to the average life of a laptop, not 14 months. HP would not replace if free of charge because it had been 14 months, 2 months beyond the 1-year warranty. While I understand the 1-year warranty, this appears to be an issue with the motherboard being faulty, not some other issue that a consumer could reasonably expect to wrong (such as damage from normal usage.) A motherboard playing out after only 14 months on a laptop that cost me nearly $1400 seems to be something that HP should give additional considerations to and not charge me for repair.

However, i do miss not having the dvd drive {for just in case i wanna watch a movie i can not stream for *free* } I got a Dell last year...end up giving it to my brother ;-)
