I've had several problems trying to get this usable. I am not sure if it is the fault of the laptop itself or in combination with other things such as Windows. Anyway, the first couple of weeks it took a long time just to boot up, the worst was 45 minutes. During those weeks there were also at least 4 windows updates so maybe it took all of them to get this more usable. There were certain things I did not 'install' (such as fingerprint) since I didn't want them. The final thing I installed was a PIN. Things have gone very well since then because once I enter the pin# I no longer have to go thru the entering of my microsoft account user/password (which is what caused most of the bootup problems since I was having to do that over and over and over before it would 'take'). So maybe it is more of user error than laptop problems. If other reviews like this laptop then it is probably just me that is the problem. I still haven't been able to get my printer 'attached' via wifi but a usb cable works (most of the time). And I have yet to get my old Office apps installed. The only other thing that seems to pertain to the laptop itself is that sometimes when I put my right hand down on the right topside, the laptop starts to lift up on the left side. Not sure why there seems to be a stability problem.

Laptop GREAT... process of purchasing through Best Buy reall poor ..needs much improvment. Waited for over an hr in store even on a list for assistance. Took many not on list. Lack of comm between employees. Explaining svs poor. Now having separate Geek SVS from Warranty and EXPENSIVE beyond reasonable pricing .. POOR POOR Purchased 6 years ago was Great now BAD

Love the laptop. The only issue I'm having is that the touchpad is sticking. If it continues, I'll need to take it to the Geek Squad to get fixed.
