Previously owned a Macbook pro. This laptop is so much nicer. The size, speed and ease of use make this a top notch purchase.

I run some designs programs in this laptop, It works great, its fast, very powerful laptop, It works great with 3d designs.

I am very happy with the processing speed and the screen quality...the touch screen functionality surpassed my expectations!

Wanted a new computer in a larger laptop version with Microsoft 10. Wanted a value packed high performance workhorse, preferably HP. This one fits the bill. Didn't hurt that I was on the fence when this computer was offered on sale. The extra 100 bucks off was the tip-in. If I could have gotten a 7200 RPM hard drive, this would have rated a 5 star for me.

I have been a loyal HP customer and laptop user for years. This laptop is by far the best yet. It is extremly light weight, the overall finish and look of the laptop is very nice. The sound system is really nice and very clear. The switch between a laptop and touch screen is very user friendly. I would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone who is searching for a really good laptop.

memory and cache is more then enough and this is coming from professional programmer. So switching between multiple instances of visual studio, browser tabs and NFS/FIFA15 is totally smooth. The only thing which can bother you if you are buying it for longer term is the fact that 6th generation Intel processor are also available in the market now.

I love the large screen, the keyboard is easy for someone with small hands. The number pad is excellent for data entry.

Everything I have is mostly Apple, but I do enjoy the new laptop, happy with win 10 never tried Windows 8 glad I waiter

Windows 10 is buggy and couldn't downgrade. Doesn't take away that it is quick and powerful with plenty of storage.

We bought this machine after a lot of trial and error. I have a pavilion G7 that I have no problems with, but we tried 3 of the same pavilions for my wife and they all stuttered on the same video that played very well on mine. We tried other brands and ended up with the Envy, which was overall, not a bad choice. The price point is kind of high for what it is but I would recommend it because it plays online videos pretty well.

Can't say enough about the product, great for everything you need, Make sure the sales person gives you the virus software before you leave, I had to go back twice to get mine squared away, the first time I apparently talked to security and he gave me the wrong information. I almost returned the laptop based on what he told me, they should be trained to keep their mouths shut!

Loaded Windows 10 laptop with 17" touchscreen display that can easily serve as both a desktop or mobile workstation.

I'm a software developer, i need plenty of disk, processor power, and ports... good wireless, ethernet jack, CD/DVD bay, plenty of USB ports, HDMI port, ... this isnt the slimmest skinny 'book' laptop, but its perfect for what I need. nice large screen, excellent keyboard (backlit too as I often am in darkened conditions on planes or hotspots), no kidding... I've had this a year now, and have no complaints whatsoever... it does everything i hoped it would, and power to spare. running XAMP stack, SQLServer + tools, several IDE's, this is a delight to use. I wondered about the feel of the keyboard at first but its way better than any of the 'regular' style keyboards. nice B&O soundcard too. And it works great when I plug in my audio USB external gear for multi-track recording. it does not contribute to latency at all.. So two thumbs up for me. I'd buy it again (or whatever the next gen is). And yes, because its my money as a freelance developer, i've always been cash conscious... value for money being important. No regrets getting this model.

I do like that it can be used weith the touch screen or the keyboard. The start is customisable to what you use.

I love this laptop. It is so fast, the fastest I've ever had. It can do anything I want it to almost instantly.

This is a decent computer but after it is on your lap for a period of time the heaviness becomes a problem. The hard drives seems slow and the silver keys are difficult to see during the day. The computer seems solid and well built. The sound was top notch for a laptop.
