Not a techie, but pleased with my first HP computer. I had intended to buy a Dell, but language difficulty was too iffy given the investment involved. Best Buy was a simple and clear transaction with good tech advice to guide my decision. Still prefer Win 7, but I will adjust to the Win 10.

This laptop is sized to make it a mobile but also is most comfortable in a stationary position. It is on the heavy side, but that is the benefit of having it be a dual desktop/laptop computer. Screen size is the best feature.

Love the touch screen. Wish I had known it came with virus protection software, as the protection program I loaded was competing with the loaded software. Geek squad finally got it straightened out. Salesperson didn't know what was already loaded on laptop.

The HP Envy is a great PC for college students or gamers. The large screen and other features make it more than like a "desktop configuration ". It offers excellent versatility and will be effective for many years to come.

I'm an engineering student that purchased this computer for college. It runs everything I need it to well and quickly including some CAD programs and few games of course. It is a big computer and somewhat heavy but if that's not a big issue for you then I highly recommend this product.

Had it a couple months. haven't seen a decline in performance yet and it is incredibly fast. Windows 10 is awesome. it's like buying a gaming laptop that can actually multitask for half the price. only downfall so far is it doesn't play blue ray but that's a luxury so 5 stars it is.

I purchased this computer for my kids for school. It has proven to have excellent battery life, good screen resolution, and is powerful enough to run games when they are done with their work. The touchscreen is a nice touch, but you won't use it as much as you think you will.

Great lap top for the price, Windows 10 seems to work so much better as a full install vs. an upgrade to Win 8. I did look at a previous HP model that included a few more apps I'd like to have. All together, I'm very happy with the new HP Lap top

This laptop is great. The large screen is useful for viewing photos, the editing software is pretty good. The large size does make it a bit less portable, but that's not generally a problem

This laptop is on the large size (17") but if you don't mind that this is an excellent computer for editing. The resolution is amazing and it is so easy to use. It has the option of using the keyboard and a touch screen. I LOVE this laptop. It has exceeded my expectations.

Needed a laptop for my original that had a fried video card from photo editing software. The sales guy was very helpful answering my questions and recommended the laptop I bought. I was skeptical at first as I didn't want Windows 10. Once I got it home and started adding my editing programs to it, I was convinced it was the right purchase. Win10 doesn't suck as I'd heard, actually like it better than Win8. It has 16gigs of RAM and nothing slows this baby down. I use Photoshop, Lightroom, ProShow Producer as well as a few other programs for my photography business. It does what I need it to. Very happy!! :-)

I've always used HP but for some reason decided to try a Lenovo. Horrible experience. I took it back and exchanged it for this laptop. Powerful, very responsive keyboard. I work on this machine all day long. It is great and responds quickly to commands. I recommend it.

COMPUTER RUNS GREAT, FAST AND EASY TO USE EXCEPT MOUSE PAD IS CLUNK, NOT SENSITIVE AND HARD TO USE. I HAVE DEBATED RETURNING BECAUSE IN TWO WEEKS I HAVE NOT BEEN HAPPY WITH THE MOUSE

This computer was purchased in the US but brought down to Mexico to me so just had it a week. Love it. My computer guru set it up and ensured the battery was properly charged and everything worked well and moved over my files. Very happy so far and loving Windows 10.

This computer has been wonderful so far everything I have performed for the classes I currently take or personal projects. The reason only I gave 4 out of 5 stars is due to the touch pad placement or size. The pad is slightly larger than normal and trying to copy and paste for example takes some getting used to. So everything I hoped the computer would be has met that standard and more thus far. PS It was a plus that I received 150.00 off just for being a college student with a verifying college email address is all it took at best buy and the service was outstanding....I had 3 in mind when going in but very pleased with this choice!

I like the size. It can be a replacement for my older 23" desktop. This came with Windows 10 and I am still getting familar with how to get around. So far so could. I am very happy with this purchase.

Bigger than most laptops. Battery life seems to be short at less than three hours. This laptop is very speedy. The laptop is very affordable at around $1,000. Very fast for running graphics programs.

My wife is a full time Mom, but an excellent photagrapher with very nice Nikon equipment... I got this for her to edit pictures with as well as other things. She loves the touch screen ability and the graphics card. she is very happy with her husband : )

Bought this computer for my daughter. She is very happy with it as it is fast and has everything a person would need. It is a big 17" screen but thin and not heavy. The picture quality is great. Plenty of memory. So far she is very happy after 2 months.

I love the new HP 17" touch screen. Very fast but I used Geek squad to transfer from old computer and that was a waste of money. My email was transferred 5 times so I had to go back and delete 4 of every old email. Files were not set up the same either.
