Although HP still prefers to have control it is not too difficult to personalize the software. Some annoying elements are due to Win 10, which for an old duffer there is a learning curve. I am very happy with the 17" display, in fact I didn't know just how below par the old Toshiba was until I used this. Once again, thanks to the help from the Best Buy staff for helping me make the decision.

I wish I could say it kicks tush, but my wife bought it for my Christmas present and she won't let me use it.(she better wrap it with bows and ribbon!) But what I can say is that it went on sale for $150 less than we paid. Best buy adjusted the price on the laptop and the extended warranty! Major savings! No argument, ho hassle.
