I reviewed a lot of laptops and kept coming back to this particular one. The touchscreen is a bonus. We also bought the Bamboo Ink pen for writing on the screen. It did not receive 5 stars because it is awkward to write on the screen since it is not a convertible.

Works great for my applications which include Quicken, and Excel and Microsoft Word and Microsoft Edge for internet access. Before starting to use it we did wipe all of the unnecessary software such as MacAfee and other bloatware.

Ease of use,clear picture,so many options to explore ,plan on exploring more as time moves on think I would like To attend one of Best Buy’s instructional classes to get an even better understanding of all the HP has to offer.

The laptop I purchased has a wide enough screen for even people with bad eyesight. I love the response time with the touch screen features. Would highly recommend for a computer novice who doesn't always understand high tech.

Loving my new HP, had it for about a month now and no slow down issues with my Adobe programs anymore. Everything is running fast and smooth. The screen looks super awesome, vibrant color and the sound system is good too.

Great back-up computer for my desktop - My only regret is that its keys are silver instead of black (like my previous one), which would make them easier to see during the daytime. The ''lighted keys'' don't do it for me.

I bought this computer in February of 2018. I didn’t like HP products that much then and now I definitely wouldn’t recommend them. At the end of 2019, I was experiencing a sticking mouse with a large glowing circle at the bottom of the screen. That circle is where my mouse stuck preventing me from typing and it had a tendency to click on screens I did not want. I had let my Geek Squad program run out, but took it in anyways at the beginning of 2020. The agent worked on it but did not see what it was doing. The agent updated and updated a few things, but did not fix the problem. The problem was sporadic and did not stick all of the time. I proceeded to get the Geek Squad renewed as suggested by an agent at a price of $199. This month I took it to my store and again, it did not do it in store. Therefore without seeing the issue they could do nothing. The agent told me next time I see it, to contact Geek Squad by phone so they could see it. However, they couldn’t see it because in order to work on it, it had to be remotely connected. They made me shut it down, restart and login to the remote site. They ran all sorts of tests and etc. It happened again today and I called. They booked me into my Best Buy for drop off service. I was just there on Saturday and tomorrow I will be taking it back. The store is 45 minutes away. I don’t blame Geek Squad. They are doing their best, but unless they see it sticking, they won’t know what it is doing. Personally, I think they should send it back to HP and let them fix it. Of course, it is already out of warranty. All I can say is DONT BUY HP PRODUCTS! It’s fast and worked for awhile but their products stink! My last HPs crapped out as well. I should have known better. If anyone has had success with a brand, stick with it. Hopefully, the Geek Squad will be able to fix it. One technician thought it may not be fixable.

I bought this pc because it had a cd/dvd drive, an aluminum case, and is fully loaded with memory and hard drive capacity. I waited for it to come on sale and saved $200.00. I feel I won’t have to upgrade for a long time.

This laptop is lightning fast. It has every possible feature I could ask for. I love the facial recognition log-in and all the programs and features that come built in. Couldn't have asked for a better computer.

This laptop does everything I need it to do. Good processing speed, plenty of memory, comfortable layout, large screen. Only negative would be that it's heavy if you plan on carrying it a lot (which I do not).

We purchased some new laptops with extras for some of the office staff. Everyone seems to be very pleased. A little hiccup in picking items up, but everything worked out fine. Many thanks to great customer service.

I've wanted this machine for over a year, after my MSI was stolen, and when I say that I was shocked beyond words that this machine and keep up with the screen rates of games like GTA5, no lag which so ever

This is my second ENVY I've bought from Best Buy. I use it for DJing this machine has so much power I can run all of my apps all at once with no glitches and the graphics are awesome on the new generation!!!!

I use this computer for viewing and editing large PDF documents in the construction industry and 3D building drawings. It handles all documents and programs with ease. No slow loading of documents or waiting for pages to load.

Bought this laptop when I started my own business. Nice size screen and worked well for my needs. Until it quit connecting to the internet. And if I can't connect to the internet, I can't work.

Wonderful color and graphics. Great keyboard feel. Includes a DVD player something that is disappearing from other brands. HDMI and headphone outputs.

So far so good!! The only issue I have had is that when I went to register the laptop it showed that it was already registered. HP said it was a "glitch" in their system. Still waiting for it to be resolved.

Laptop is really well built, nice quality. Bought a 3 year accidental warranty from HP, not Best Buy like I should of, and I still regret it. Played heck getting it linked to laptop and didn't receive my lojack like I was supposed to.

Meets what I need to do. Not fond of Microsoft Office software as their programs required Geek Squad intervention to fix the installation problems. Microsoft could not fix the problem over the phone. Otherwise the computer is fine.

With diminishing vision, this laptop fills my needs. Enjoying the large, crisp monitor and touch-pad, face-recognition login, expressive touchscreen, etc. Looks like HP didn't overload the machine with too many unwanted apps, either.
