track pad doesn't work right curser keeps jumping cd doesn't close properly HP says it happens ...???

Upgrade from i3 to this newest technology is not noticeably faster in opening, uploading or downloading.

I purchased this laptop for the speed and capabilities listed. I am disappointed by the SLOW speed.

It boots up about like my windows ME did and takes too much time loading pictures and Excel.

I was looking for something more high-end, but this was the only 17 inch laptop available.

works as well as I expected. Touch pad without mouse buttons takes some getting use to.

My daughter has the computer in her car to return it for me. Just don’t like it

Navigation with the mouse is fussy and makes me a little crazy. Otherwise ok.

The computer refused to recognize me for a confirmation ID. I'm going to run in circles trying to change my password from my Microsoft account. Unable to get in this computer to even get it boot it up I've had it for about two months and I'll be able to use it about 2 weeks or less

Just received my computer from my IT Tech who set it up. I am trying to find instructions online and trying to navigate. Only bad issue so far is the numeric pad does not show if the lock is on or not as my previous HP computer did.

Multiple reoccurring problems. Internet works so-so on either-net...Wi-fi breaks signel often. Sitting next to my old computer that works very good....Go figure.....This is a $1,000 paper weight!! Jerry Dinwiddie

After less than two years the hard drive was fried and had to be replaced....just outside the manufacturers warranty

This computer came with Windows 10 Home Edition and cost more than $1,600.00 after adding Microsoft Office and a security software. After using this computer for about one month I have found that it is not nearly worth the price tag. Way too many problems but most of them if not all of the problems could be attributed to the OS. If you are looking for a good laptop without problems, keep looking. This is not the machine for you.

My review can not be appraised as "typical" simply because my HP Envy was damaged during transit. When I returned it I tried another Envy with the same specs and it worked wonderfully but mine was a $1000 paper weight however, Best Buy refunded my money no problem and I ended up buying an HP Spectre which I LOVE! I would still recommend the Envy.

I've had the bios die twice in the last 4 months. All of my data went too, it wouldn't refresh or partition or back up. One day it's fine, the next a black screen that won't boot. Beware of a pc that is on sale not part of a holiday sale or a manufacturer sale, there's a reason it is marked way down.

This was a NIGHTMARE. 30 days After I purchased started to shut off. Fan problems. Due I didnt buy "extra protection " and only spent "1200" they told me no warranty. That made me think I have to spent $300 more plus the regular price to have a "decent" laptop. This product is a scam
