I bought the HP Envy 2-in-1 14" 2K Touch-Screen Laptop with AMD Ryzen 5, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD and I couldn’t be happier. From the moment I turned it on, I could tell it was a high-quality device. The 2K touchscreen is sharp, vibrant, and perfect for watching content or working on creative tasks. The 2-in-1 feature is super convenient—using it as a tablet is great for note-taking or drawing. The Ryzen 5 processor and 16GB of RAM make everything run smoothly, even when multitasking with multiple apps. The 512GB SSD offers fast boot-up and plenty of storage for my files. The Glacier Silver design looks sleek and modern. It feels solid yet lightweight, which is great for carrying around. Battery life is strong and the fast charging is a big bonus. Overall, this is a powerful, versatile, and well-built laptop. Highly recommended!

This laptop has consistent problems and I will be coming back to return it as soon as I can. I bought this laptop new about 6 months ago and I’ve already had numerous problems.

First impressions are very positive. I've owned for about a week. The keyboard is tactile and uncramped. Good for speed typing. The touchpad is ample and accurate. Smooth. Speakers are OK. A little distortion on high volume. My model has a glossy screen, which is OK, but gloss does equate to glare in direct bright light. 4 usb ports (2xC, 2xA) is actually not bad these days. No SD card reader, but this is pretty common too. USB-C hub is mandatory for me, feeding everything including power through a single port. The SSD and 16GB memory are fast and thus everything loads quicky. The CPU and GPU are more than adequate for business use, though one would have to wait a bit longer for intense loads like AI or massive CAD/CAE work. It is not a screamer for gaming but Civilization performs well enough to be comfortably playable. The touchscreen is accurate and just the right level of sensitive for me. 2-n-1 modes is great to have. Overall, I think it's a clear value at retail price, and an exceptional value on sale.

I had bought this laptop in the summer while it was on sale because I was about to start PA school in August and my previous laptop was getting older and slower. I've been using this laptop consistently for at least a months-worth of classes and it has been EXCELLENT. Battery lasts all day, even if I forget to bring my charger to class, I don't have to worry because the battery will still have plenty of charge left at the end of the day even after being on it in class consistently from 8am to 4pm. Works very fast. Touch screen is awesome and actually one of the reasons why I bought this specific laptop. I love the two-in-one feature when I'm studying and trying to go through Quizlets. And the backlit keyboard is an awesome perk. It is very light weight despite how much storage it has. Would highly recommend this laptop for students or anyone doing consistent work.

I really wanted an affordable 2 in 1 Laptop that was a real laptop and not a chromebook. I was upgrading from a terrible lenovo 2 in 1 that in concept was really really good with a lot of things it taught me what I wanted which was from this unit. Major positives in this unit is the keyboard feel is nice as the body is a nice metal chassis. Has a cool metal feel to it but it does come with care required as it will get scratched up badly if not careful. It is quite a good looking machine in person as it's sleek. Touch pad isn't too bad. Back lit keys are super nice when typing in the dark. Screen brightness is not too bad and excellent when you push it with power plugged in or getting rid of the power saving settings. Speakers are surprisingly not too bad for how small the laptop is and affordable as well. Gaming potential in this is actually not too bad. Don't expect high tier gaming but it can run a decent amount of games. That was a nice benefit of the APU with a decent graphics capability. USBC power which is really conveinent as I really hate dedicated bricks that are bulky or break and get lost. Making that a huge win for this. Headphone jack is nice in a era of removing them. Full size HDMI port! Touch screen feels good and is compatible with my Bamboo pen for doing some minor photoshop/lightroom editing on this. Battery life on this unit is REALLY good. Very impressed with how long the battery lasts on this machine compared to my primary laptop and my old 2 in 1 I got rid of for this. Using the trade in program towards this to knock off some cost, this laptop was an absolute solid choice and I'm not disappointed especially getting it on a mild sale. Now I do know it lacks some upgrade ability. The APU is soldered to the board so no swapping CPUs. The Ram i believe has a limited from the board manufacturer which is super lame. I still need to upgrade the SSD but overall when I was comparing specs for the costs from similar machines. This one absolutely wins. I'm writing this review on this machine and it's still an absolute enjoyment to use. One of my favorite laptops i've purchased in a long time.

Excellent all around! This is a fantastic 14" 2-in-1 that is well worth your money, especially on sale. Build quality is excellent and the Envy looks and feels super premium. The AMD processor is plenty powerful and performs better than expected, while also staying cool under most situations. Even under load the laptop doesn't get very hot and the fans are not very loud. Unlike many Windows laptops, this one seems to retain almost all of its performance when running on battery - nice! The screen is ...fine. It could be a little bit brighter, but it is clear and colorful and seems to have good contrast. Windows Ink with a Microsoft Pen Protocol pen works perfectly including pressure sensitivity and tilt. The Webcam is very good and the AMD chip supports some AI tools like eye contact and autoframing. The presence detection is also really impressive. Speakers are quite good for such a small laptop, and even have a little bass. They really get loud and work well for video conferencing. Keyboard and trackpad are EXCELLENT, a joy to type on. Battery life is very good too.

As much as I don't like HP, this was a great laptop. It did everything I expected it to do, and at a great level. I was worried about the speaker level since, unlike the 16", it's not a the top of the laptop, but it was reasonably loud and clear. I didn't expect to use the folding tablet feature as much as i did, but with how good the screen looked and felt, I could fold my laptop in half and use the touchscreen on that perfectly. It also worked great! with the pen I bought - I got an MPP 2.0 certified pen off Amazon for about $20, and it worked just fine, looked great for taking notes. The processor was also plenty fast, and the RAM seemed fine. Unfortunately, there was only 1, M.2 slot so I couldn't add a second SSD. 512 GB is just too low to ship a modern day laptop with, in my opinion.

Powerful and portable. Battery life is outstanding, runs really fast, ms co pilot is really cool also. Touch screen is nice if you want to use it as a tablet. The backlit keyboard is also fantastic. If you’re looking for a powerful portable machine and a great price this thing is a great deal.

I was on the fence about buying this laptop. It was an emergency as I was left without a computer powerful enough for editing while visiting home. It ended up being more powerful than my PC at home! Its thin and light but runs so well. The battery life is exceptional. My only possible complaint is that it is hard to open as there isn't much to grip with your thumb so I have to awkwardly use my fingers. But there is no buyer's remorse or anything!

I'm loving my HP Envy laptop! It's a very nice device that's perfect for gaming and everyday work. The speed is impressive, making it a joy to use. The performance is top-notch, and I appreciate how easy it is to work on.

This is a very good mid-level laptop in all respects. The CPU, RAM, SSD drive and touch screen, back- lite keyboard, along with a good display, sound, plus it is light in weight. All of these features are hard to find in a better price range for a laptop

Had to replace my previous Pavillion and this one has a better battery lifenad doesnt run as hot as the last one. The only thing i miss is the up/down page buttons for scrolling. Very easy to set up and havnt had any issues so far. worth the price for passive use on the internet, streaming and doing zoom meetings.

An amazing laptop that can run games, stream and do other tasks at great speeds. The screen quality is great for Full HD. Battery life is very reliable can go 12 hours continuous usage off a full charge. Operates and runs things fast and smooth. Overall 8.5/10 laptop, just wish it includes an SD card reader port on it.
