MICROSOFT STOP INSULTING YOUR CUSTOMERS
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not even owned this laptop for one year and it's already got me livid. It infuriates me when Microsoft and other companies make their apps unusable. It made me furious when they decided to force me into buying Office 365 and pretended that I would want it. I have always despised the demand to "sign in" and the trick of making me have Office 365. When I tried to get the other version of Microsoft Office that I can use offline, I was tricked into paying for Office 365 which is degrading and insulting. I resent being forced to go on the web. On other computers even when I paid for the version I wanted, I found I was being forced to "sign in" when I NEVER had Office 365. This sparked off a temper fit and the salesmen at Best Buy were good about correcting this problem so I was not forced to "sign in." Secondly, they have found a way to make the camera app dysfunctional and this is yet another way to insult and humiliate their customers. It reads "to use your camera you might need to slide a shutter near the camera press a button on the keyboard or slide a camera switch on you device." They know completely well that I have no way of knowing what any of this means. There is no "shutter near the camera" or "camera switch" and there is no "button on the keyboard" to make the camera work. My old computers never told any convoluted lies like this and no company has any right to degrade their customers by selling this trash. I should not have to "get help" or any other thing to use this camera. It should have been simple and straightforward like all other cameras on other computers. As is the case with all Windows computers, I have to go into the settings every time I need to change the print size or picture size. This is exhausting and annoying. I got this computer for business purposes. At this time, it's being used to store some files and I'm cautious about going on the web with it. In this way, it's only one step above a hard drive. I would not buy one like this again. As a shareholder of Microsoft, I'm ashamed of them.

Not a good buy
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is not best experience: I bought this device less three months ago and the advertised battery strengthen has waned considerably. In fact, the battery was never as good as advertised. I thought I could manage, but it got worse. Whats the point of buying a laptop reputed to last 7hrs but only do about 2hrs. This is sad and discouraging.

HP Envy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a brand new laptop, but the speed is much to be desired! Not sure why a new laptop takes so long to get connected, I have barely started to install the apps I need.

Power Down on this computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Computer completely shut down twice over the course of a month. Wouldn't boot up at all. Power totally down. Tried internet searches and calling the company. Best Buy Geek Squad was able to give it life the first time, but after the second time of the same thing, it was returned.

Dont trust HP
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dont buy HP products. Their quality has gone down significantly. Used the laptop for a month before it would randomly shut off and required a reboot. Became unusable. Only solution was to return it and get something better.

Looks good on paper but bad computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't waste your time....this computer looks good on paper, but doesn't perform. Out of the box a few of the keys on the keypad stick (stay down) when you touch them. And wththin 2 weeks of purchase the microphone started cutting out randomly and my online calls. Best Buy was no help b/c it was past the 2 week return window and HP service has been a nightmare.

Waiting...still waiting...& already paid for....
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Umm...I ordered this laptop over a month ago, they already charged me for the laptop over a month ago, I am already using up my subscription to Microsoft from the date that I ordered the laptop, they keep delaying delivery, may do so again - or just cancel the order and hopefully refund me after using my money for over a month. I spent an hour trying to figure out the best laptop for me during a chat session with Best Buy - and this is what was recommended. Non-existent laptop?

Great value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great value for the specifications. Runs smooth. 16 gigs or RAM is sufficient for just about any application and 1 TB of hard drive is more than enough for our needs.
