My old laptop was getting very slow and would occasionally freeze, so I decided to "upgrade". Big mistake. First one immediately had problems, so I exchanged it for another. Second one is just as glitchy. I have been a HP guy, literally, for decades. If this is the way it is now, I may have to reconsider the brand.

Screen is really good with 100% sRGB, so handy for photo editing on the go and it fits in my camera backpack. Got an aftermarket surface pen so I could play around with art apps. Did have to scrub some bloatware but it wasn't too bad.

This is a known fault in the product and HP refuses to cover repairs costing as much as half the cost of the laptop to replace with a similarly faulty plastic tool.
